I was going to guess "sun" but it doesn't rhyme with "thing." It's like a ring. More like a disk.

But I like "Khing," too. Especially with the whole fate-thing. Sounds like whoever guesses what it is gets it as a prize. :)

so this rather cryptic riddle was not a prize contest or some Easter egg for a future dungeon puzzle. It was my strange way of announcing that one of the rarest of the rare tokens was on its way to a new home. The ring is leaving the West and headed back to the East where it will have a great and active new home in the possession of someone who is such a kindred spirit I think we were from the same mold. That's all I think I need to say on the matter but the ring will indeed be continuing to make someone smile and that is what really matters.
