The list below is bare-bones. For a more verbose description, you can review Magical Damage Resolution . I think steps 4 and 5 are probably the most germane to this topic.

1. Determine the potential damage.
2. Check to see if the spell fails to affect the target.
3. Make a saving throw, if applicable.
4. Apply point-based modifiers.
5. Apply percentage-based modifiers (round down).
6. Apply modifiers specific to that attack form/monster.

I would say that step 1 "Determine the potential damage." is where critical doubling is supposed to be getting applied, as potential damage includes the critical. Steps 2 through 6 seem intended to be solely about reducing damage based on the examples provided.

[spoilers] V6b room 5 does seem to be missing a few of the incorpeal benefiting tokens. I had Bead Whole Vision and was still getting miss on my Ray of Shock occasional.

Amulet of Plane Shifting and Goggles of Ethereal Vision should also be checked because I thought someone in my party said they had one and were having the same issue.

My Ray of Shock in that room when it didn't miss (like it shouldn't have) was only reporting 0 damage as well no matter what I rolled for a result). I can replicate now. I don't believe there was shock DR that high on it to reduce to zero.[/spoiler]

For Monks & Rangers, is the 50% miss chance calculated for both attacks individually or one single attack? When testing out different builds for with this past module, it always shows both attacks as missing and leads me to believe that the website is not applying the 50% chance to both attacks individually like how we see in PTD.

It's individual think you might have been getting some bad luck.

Can recent completion tokens get added please? Looking at Goggles of Striking specifically.

How does Elevate Damage work? Do you just know to add 15 or 30 on a crit to the total?

When you add these, remember that ranged damage also applies to spells. I'm not saying you ever missed this, but it's been missed before.
