TOPIC: TD Character Creator (Web Site)

Druid spell surge didn't work for me this VTD when it usually does. I tried casting it different ways but it always cast the follow up spell regularly for normal damage. Also a DM told me spell surge doesn't double bonuses and it says only base in the PHB, I think when it was working it was doubling my whole spell. A bit upsetting because I do a lot less damage then I thought apparently

Anyone else having trouble pulling up My Parties on the web site?

Can you add a way to rename an existing character rather than cloning and renaming during cloning event and deleting old character?

If VTD will be a long term offering, could there be a way to share the party card with the DM before the run so that the DM gets any data they need in a worksheet to help them out with combat management?

I love all the work on Td character creator to date.

Thank you again for all the hard work on the web app! It's truly impressive how much is done to support VTD in under a year

I want to report a minor difference between the phone app and the web app: bonuses from off-hand items in different attack modes.

It looks like the app makes a distinction between Strength for melee vs. ranged, but the web app uses the same value for both. The following example shows the discrepancy:
1. Create a new, blank Paladin
2. Equip a Bliss Bull Shield in the Melee Offhand
3. Equip a Mighty Sling in the Ranged Offhand
4. Observe the Statistics page

On the phone app, the Paladin has +1 hit/+1 damage in melee, and +1 hit/+0 damage in ranged. In the web app, the Paladin has +1 hit/+1 damage in both attack modes.

Page 67 of the PHB suggests that the phone app has this implementation correct. It's a minor item that likely only affects a few tokens, such as Orb of Might and Bliss Bull Shield, so I can understand if this is a low priority.

Yeah so this was the reason why I had it so you could not equip two different shields (this was a heated discussion two years ago). Needless to say there is a really long backstory here the short answer is I already have this fixed just waiting on getting other changes done for the v4 series before its released.

Yes. If I read the TokebDB correctly you cannot equip both the SoC and the separate teeth, making the semi-lich skull useless.

so if i'm on a run that I might need more hp, the teeth and semi-lich skull

Yeah I got that one but that really only effects VTD. This would be on you account level to unlock the option of a new slot for Odin's or say if you have a gear to give all your characters +effect
