It's a feature not a bug. This is something I debated quite a bit when designing the functionality, right now when you select a character for VTD it's state (relative to VTD not editing in general) is locked for 24 hours this was to make sure of two things one you shouldn't be changing your build half way through a run (it's not a thing you can do in live TD) and two making sure state effects don't get into a weird state from the switching of select tokens. For this reason the rest character button under settings exists. It not only resets the character state but updates the equipment and stats to whatever is currently equipped.

I can change the way that works like I said I debated it quite a bit.

Worked quite well in dungeon for me. I was worried about switching between rollers and hp as I thought it would slow me down. I wonder if Defense should be between spells and attack just because you are likely using one and not the other primarily. Just a thought. It is not big issue, but rollering across spells as a non spell caster on a big screen is mildly annoying.

About to start my second run and this time as a caster so it will be a slightly different experience. Overall I am liking it more than I thought I would (which I thought I would like just more so).

Fair enough. I suspected either the browser or the server was keeping the state.

Perhaps a note above the Reset button and/or a hover? (Dang UI design concerns)

In this case, i was changing the character in the coaching room when someone offers up a Eldrich item or a legendary weapon.

Super minor thing, but I equipped Ring of Fire Resistance in one run and when I took Fire damage it didn't reduce it by half.

Overall TDCC worked well for my runs today!

It did take a while to get used to where all the buttons are. I'd suggest moving the Attack/Spells/Defense/Buffs buttons to just below the Roller/Statistics/Notes/Settings buttons. That would be a more natural flow of clicks to drill-down (from the top and moving down).

I think it's a very smart feature, neatly avoiding a myriad of unanswerable questions like what to do if I'm currently at 45 out of 50hp and then I equip or unequip some +CON tokens.

IMO confusion could be avoided just by making the feature more conspicuous. Maybe after you select Virtual TD and choose a character, you then have to choose between "New game (reset state)" or "Resume game in progress" before it takes you to the roller screen?

I am super looking forward to using this live on Monday! (silly other real-life things preventing me from playing TD until then)

Very cool stuff...

For the +2 avenger on a non-paladin, the critical check is still slaying...need to adjust for non-paladin users with an AND...

also notice that taking damage is not taking the immunity of monk to poison into consideration.

I think there are 2 bugs with synergy. If I put in 10 for initiative it says my bonus is 11. I think HP is probably the same, but haven't checked it. It also seems that your HP after setting that your HP might be incorrect as +10 is above your max....I think. Resetting doesn't fix it because it resets the bonuses.


+2 Archer's Buckler+3 to AC may only be used with 2-handed missile weapons

Its adding your contribution of plus 1 that is why, for now just only add what the party adds (ie +9). As for the buckler what non missile two handed weapon did you have equipped that even allowed that to happen?

The Druid’s Sacred Vestments provide +2 healing when you choose Pass on the skill check.

Nightshade’s +2 Short Sword with nothing else equipped on a 4th level Rogue seems to be 2 more damage it should during sneak attack. There is nothing else adding to damage equipped, and the rogue doesn't have strength high enough to affect damage. I get 21(4). Should be 19 correct (4+15 sneak damage)? 24(7) should be 22. I cannot tell if there is an 8 and a dagger (a 10) while sneaking. I wonder if the dagger symbol damage is getting added to all the numbers.
