Viper Strike Pants only change Range & Magic DR by 2, instead of the 3 they're meant to.

That is a feature of the Golden Ticket Medallion slot. If you have a medallion, you are allowed to equip the Medallion of Nobility in it. That provides +2 DR to everything, except Eldritch damage. If you do not have a GT Medallion, the slot should be empty.

Myself & other players were using Mighty Slings, and we were not getting variable damage - just 0 for misses and 10 for hits (or 5, for the other player). No damage wheel changes - 1-2-3-4 - and that's in different rooms on different builds.

On Android, Greaves of Grounding show as green/uncommon rather than Red/Rare.

I think I've found a minor unimplemented feature in the VTD features of the app (Android using version 8.0.2.0). Apologies if this is a duplicate.

When a 5th level barbarian activates greater rage in a room with more than 1 monster, the app appears to implement the monsters as essentially 2 separate rooms. My understanding is that as long as at least 1 monster is still present "combat" is still active so greater rage should work for both monsters and stay active if monster A is attacked round 1, monster B round 2, and back to monster A round 3. It is possible that my understanding of the definition of 'end of combat' is not precise and the app does not have any problem.

Test approach:
Create a barbarian wearing only ring of heroism and a common club. (damage should be d6+4 without rage)
Activate VTD 3b (harry).
Advance to room 7 (monster 1). Roll a bunch of times and note that damage is mostly 0.
Activate greater rage. Roll a bunch of times and note that damage appears to always be a non-zero number except on a miss.
Advance to room 7 (monster 2). Roll a bunch of times, but I don't actually know what damage should be but it was part of my test.
Return to room 7 (monster 1). Roll a bunch of times and note that damage has mostly gone back to 0.

Tested similar issue: Consumables/spells with duration of room are lost between 7(monster1) and 7(monster2). Tested by activating prayer and seeing +6 to hit in 7(monster1), activating prayer and seeing +8 to hit, then advancing to room 7 monster 2 and seeing +6 to hit again. This is not as important as it is easy enough to reactivate the buffs manually using existing features.

Untested but likely similar issue: 4th level regular rage

Possible minimal effort workaround: allow an easy way to override the fact that greater rage has already been cast and document to users that if changing monsters in a room they should reactivate rage. This would also handle other use cases like the rage power being restored for another use.

You are correct. It is an issue, and is targeted to be corrected for February. It affects all in room effects, including consumables.

Would it be possible to add bard buff spells and buff scrolls to consumables? Ideally song of heroism, and scrolls Baulder’s courage, Odin’s blessing, and Bolster Allies?

Character Generator Version 8.1.0 for IOS has been released. (Android will happen next week)
It includes the following changes:

1. Viper Strike Pants, Mighty Sling, Greaves of Grounding and Plate of the Forge have been corrected
2. Changing between creatures within the same room no longer resets spell/consumable buffs
3. Dungeon graphic has been updated
4. Character Regeneration for moving rooms is now automated (only happens once per room number)
5. Amulet of Wonder has been updated for 2021 effects
6. Turn Undead has been added for Clerics, and will only allow casting against Undead sub types
7. Spell Damage Reduction has been implemented
