Monks & rangers may duplicate any weapon they want when fighting in melee. The relic or above qualification only comes into play when discussing fulfilling a set's quota. Two UR (or lower) set weapons only count as one when fulfilling a set, but two relic or legendary set weapons count as two. E.g., two +2 Viper Strike Fangs count as one item toward the Viper Strike set bonus. However, two Asher’s +5 Viper Strike Fangs or two +3 Viper Strike Fangs count as two items toward the VS set's item requirements.

Chuckling at the idea of a ranger with two +2 Deadly Drow Blood Mace, and a +8 to hit. That is a lot of healing over three rounds of combat

The off hand weapon has to be usable by rogue as well as Ranger. So that combo is not viable.

That rule is probably the number one source of confusion/consternation for newby Rangers in the Coaching room.

Just to also clarify. They may use ANY two of the same weapon, it doesn't have to be UR. The only restriction is for set bonuses which need to Relic or higher for them to be the same token and count as two.

Two +1 Daggers works for Rangers.

I have submitted updates to both Apple and Google for release. The corrections are as follows:

- Corrected the hit points for 5th level Druid
- Corrected a problem with Bracelets of the Cabal not adding the Healing/Damage to the stats sheet
- Corrected a problem with Bracelets of the Cabal not reseting when adding another character to the Party Card

The third item only applies to the IOS version. (Yes the Party Card will be added to Android next year)

Thank you. Recently acquired an iPad and thought "What better use than to download the character generator." I liked it, but quickly noticed it didn't give me any damage for the Bracelets of the Cabal.

Just FYI. With the existing version, especially on the iPad, the Party Card does show the bonus for Bracelets of the Cabal correctly. It is the stats page that is incorrect. I expect we will see the update from Apple before Gencon starts, but just in case, just use the totals on the Party Card view.

There was a recent discussion when I mentioned about taking a picture of the party card and showing to the coach.

This was met with a polite nope! This sent the message that party card is not relied upon for character stats.

Here is what the Coaches Guide says:

When players present you with pre-generated stats
and a verified token list (see previous note about
Coach Minion), thank them and inform them that
they get a +1 bonus to their max HP. These are the
only acceptable stat generators:
• Amorgen’s Excel spreadsheet
• Cranston’s iOS or Android app
The stats may either be physically printed or
displayed on screen. But no matter what, the player
must show you the accompanying token list so you
can verify they have what they claim to have.

I'm looking at the party card and it seems like the healing bonus is correct, but the spell damage isn't. I have Drake's Staff, Relsa's Ring, Boots of the 4 Winds, Lenses of Focus and Bracelet of the Cabal. I'm expecting to see a spell bonus of 17. I see 17 for Heal, but only 16 for Damage.

Understood. I will be bringing a printout of the specific class worksheet (for all runs) and and a printout of the equipment worksheet with one class column filled out (only for one of the runs) for GenCon.

The new version corrects all that. I get 17 for Spell damage and 7 for healing, but I suspect you also have 2 eldritch items so you get the +10 healing.

BTW: The recent corrections have cleared Google and Apple and are available for download/update. Enjoy Gencon!
