There will be a limited number of 'Cast No Mark' spells. Everyone gets 1, to account fo the Cleric Restore Spell. Keep in mind, this doesn't give you a free cast, you need to have the Cleric use the ability. Otherwise, you get an additional one for Charm of Spell Swapping, Ring of Spell Storing and Crown of Expertise. You also get another one for the Arcane set. So if you have all the tokens and the set, you can use this option up to 5 times, and then it doesn't show up again.

For Cast as Scroll, the option always shows up, because you could actually use a scroll, and some of the tokens limit it to 1/room.

If all the boxes are checked, the spell button will still work, but you will be left with Cancel or Cast as Scroll, or if you have remaining uses Cast No Mark.

This should allow casters with lots of tokens to re-use spells as appropriate, while limiting new players from 'accidently' utilizing options that are not available.

This version should be out in about a week or so, but I wanted to give you a preview of what's coming.

Hi, Great app!
I use the classic +2 Flaming Short Bow from 2007.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think the Fire damage is showing as its Damage Type.

How to use weapons with additional type specific damage with the app?
Such as Necklace of the Spirit Drake
"All the wearer’s flurry of blows attacks deal +4 damage as Sacred."

Is that something I announce for each hand that hits?
Is that damage baked in to the App's reported damage, Or I should read the damage from the app and then say, "plus additional 4 or 8 Sacred damage"

All items that add damage to the attack, like Necklace of the Spirit Drake are shown in the table with elemental bonuses. In the phone versions, that table shows up on Page 2 of the Stats. They are already taken into account in the Virtual TD damage numbers, and adjusted as needed based on the creature data built into the app, so there is no need to alert the DM about those items.

Weapon bonuses are already baked into the damage wheel, so are not displayed in the table.

Magic spells are not modified according to the creature, as some tokens allow for changing the damage type of the spell, which would change the creature effect, so those you do need to specify to the DM.

Version 7.11.0 has been released for IOS and Android devices, and includes the following improvements:

- Corrected an issue with the Acid Ray spell
- Rangers with Ralson's Pendant of the Elder Yew can now use an Animal Companion
- Ring of Spell Storing, Crown of Expertise and the Arcane Set now allow for using a spell without marking off the character sheet
- Charm of Spell Swapping allows sacrificing a spell to cast a lower level spell
- Added cast 'As Scroll' option
- Updated the creature file for V3 events

For the Ranger use of Ralson's Pendant of the Elder Yew, the animal companion is available for Ranged combat, when using a 2 handed missile weapon. If equipped, under Consumables, the Ranger can select a Polymorph Potion which will be active for that room. When tapping the Missile Damage button, the animal companion will will rolled for at the same time, and the damage applied. The animal companion attacks with the To Hit bonuses of the Ranger, but damage is only from the damage wheel of the potion.

For Charm of Spell Swapping, if equipped, the Wizard will see an option on any spell to Sacrifice Spell. If selected, the spell is marked off, but no other effects occur, until a second spell (of lower level and damage/healing related) is selected. You will have the option to Cancel and select a different spell or Cast No-Mark. This will not count against the global limit of Cast No-Mark, but only utilize the Sacrificed Spell. MEC is available for the damage spell. If you Sacrifice a spell, you need to cast the 2nd spell immediately. Casting any other spell will clear the Sacrificed Spell. (you cannot store it for later) Obviously changing rooms after Sacrificing a spell will clear it also.

Ring of Spell Storing, Crown of Expertise and the Arcane Set Bonus allow for Cast No-Mark. In addition to the possible use of the Cleric Restore Spell, this represents the total number of uses of Cast No-Mark, before that option will disappear for the rest of the run.

Cast as Scroll: This allows for numerous items that allow for a free action cast as a scroll, or scroll usage in general. No bonuses are applied at all. Even if MEC is set, it will have no impact if Cast as Scroll. It is just base damage.

All spells that do damage now report the type of damage on the main view, i.e. Fire, Force, Cold, etc.

One final item. The app version number now appears at the top of the main view, next to the Character Name.
