TOPIC: True Dungeon Character Generators (App)

I'm on android, and it appears that the damage reduction section on the right is not correct. It isn't counting my supreme Ring or other elemental rings, nor bloodless.

I don’t seem to have issues importing builds on IOS but have had no luck on Android.

I can see the .tdc file When I search for .tdc but the app can’t seem to find it.

I have also tried opening the file with the app with no success.

Any help would be appreciated.

I did put out an update on Tuesday to address a permission problem with files. 7.7.1 specifically. If you haven’t updated the Android version this week, the update may fix it. If you do have the update, please PM me with the phone model, so I can try it in the silmulator.

Where do I enter scrolls, particularly party buffing scrolls such as Scrolls Bless? I did not see them under Consumables or other places I looked.

The app does not handle scrolls or potions. You will address those with the DM during the run.

Found the VTD button.

Looking at the elf wizard spells, there was no information/stats for the acid ray spell.

The short answer is, that is the correct app, and the correct icon.

You are really going to make me explain this. sigh. Ok.

In submitting to Google Play, Google has a requirement for a graphic that is 1024x500. It must be specifically, that size. The app icon must be in the ratio of 1x1 (ranging from 40x40 to 512x512), so the app icon cannot be used for the Google Play page graphic.

In submitting to iTunes, Apple requires a 1024x1024 graphic, that must look like the app icon, which also is 1x1 (ranging from 20x20 to 512x512)

So that is why there is a different graphic for the header. Not my rules, I just have to live by them.

BTW: Acid Ray is already on the list of corrections after Gencon, but thank you for the head's up.

+1 on this - undoubtedly user error given my level of (in)expertise, but would appreciate any guidance on how to locate the .tdc files from the app. I click "+", then "Import", but not sure where to then find a file. Assume I need to save the .tdc file that I'm importing somewhere specific?

Thank you for the app. It will be nice to integrate it directly into virtual TD. I still wish the android app would let you print a party ard or listed on page 3 all the conditional and "1/game" type things you can do. Many of the people I equip are friends of my kids who only play 1 time per year and they need reminding. The way the website one prints them out is helpful for new players. I know the app is likely limited by this. THanks for the work to integrate it with the virtual TD experience.

I will save you the long story and the headache, but Google did it to me again. This is a problem with Anddroid 10. Android 9 and below should work. There is no simple fix. It will take an overhaul of how I'm getting the file, and of course the new method will not be compatible with Android 9 or earlier, so for anyone on Android 9 or earlier, no changes will be coming. For Android 10, it will be after Gencon by the time I can get that fixed.

For what it's worth. Export works, which is nice.

I added the app to my wife’s iPad. Will I need to re-enter my tokens on hers, or can I copy from my iPad?
