TOPIC: True Dungeon Character Generators (App)

The final version for Gencon, v 7.7 has been released. It corrects a few items.

- Corrects a problem with Hit Points resetting after loading sub views
- Modification to the Bard Song Status message to make it more clear
- Enhanced Critical for 5th level Dwarf Fighters now applies to Ranged and Melee weapons
- Added Crown of Allure to the equipment options

That is it for modifications until after Gencon. Enjoy!

It may depend on the phone, but it's also possible that Google deprecated/changed a library I am using to locate files. Google does that without providing any notification. I will have to look into this after Gencon.
Correction: I have updated to 7.7.1 to correct the Import/Export problem. It will take a day for that version to propagate to all the Google Play servers.

See correction above. 7.7.1 has been released, but it may take a day before it will be out on the servers for download.

Yes. 7.7 was the final release for IOS. The import/export functionality on IOS has been working fine.

Yes. 7.7.1 was the final release for Android. The import/export functionality on Android had an issue, with 7.7, so it required a correction quickly. 7.7.1 is functionally the same as 7.7, with the fix for import/export.

In any case both IOS and Android are out and available for download. What is out there is the final version for Gencon.

Android Elf Wizard, after viewing Fireball then looking at Acid Ray. Acid Ray shows the Fireball description.

Not seeing the option to activate Fury when having Bog's Medallion of Berserking equipped. Not sure how it's gonna be handled in VTD though.

Since the app doesn’t know if you hit or not wouldn’t you just double the damage on a non crit, not sure if I have fury correct in my head.

Fair, easily done. But having it in the app would allow tracking the usage + could just display the double'd damage (all rolls display damage anyway, despite not knowing if you hit or not).

Plus I forgot about the extra rage usage. Don't think I saw that in there either.

I guess if it it is equipped it could always show the crit damage (along with base damage). It would probably take making it seem like bog crit on any number besides 1 since that is an auto miss and would not trigger bog's anyway. The user would just need to check always if the number they rolled was a crit or not if they were not using fury. I would find that confusing but I don't own a bog so it doesn't matter to me.

Announcement: I have now published an Excel file that exports .tdc files compatible with either version of the app. This allows you to use the Excel version for pre-planning and the app for real time at VTD or when in person events occur. It will also ease converting to the app if you prefer to use it for all of your needs going forward.
