Actually it is working correctly on both IOS and Android. Note that the Charming Crown imbues psychic power, not Psychic Protection. It provides access to Teeth of Cavadar, but does not provide Pyschic Protection.

Maybe I'm confused then. when I equip the bard character with the charming crown, then go to stats, on page 2 under psychc it says "no"

Am I looking in the wrong place or misinterpreting the stat sheet?

I did equip 3, but shouldn't it equip even without teeth? The first power ( cell repair) doesn't require a tooth I thought.

Does the psychc label.on the state sheet mean

A. Psychic power unlocked
Or
B. Immune to psychic blasts
Or
C. Something else?

The stat sheet refers to Psychic Protection, as provided by the Ioun Stone Amethyst Ovoid, which provides protection from Psychic Blast in addition to providing Psychic Power. The DM needs to know who is immune to Psychic Blast, from Mind Flayer's for example. Psychic Power relates only to the Teeth of Cavadar at present. If you look at the options for Special, the Teeth only show up if you have Psychic Power. As the effects from the Teeth are controlled by the player, it does not show up on the Party Card, at least so far.

The stat sheet only lists Psychic Protection. That ability does show up on the Party Card, which is why it was included on the stat sheet.

All this can change if needed, but those are the definitions at present.

Thank you for explaining that. I thought that the DM would need to know on the party card whether someone had access to psychic abilities or not, and whether they had been used this adventure or not.

My app is now working completely fine. Once again, operator error was the cause of the mistake.

Hmm I actually thought the Psychic checkbox on the party card was "do they have psychic abilities enabled or not" too. Here's what the Coach's guide says. Only the Ioun Stone causes it to be checked, so it seems it is for the Psychic Blast protection.

Psychic: If the character has equipped an IOUN
STONE AMETHYST OVOID, put a check in this cell.
Otherwise, leave it blank. Cavadar Teeth do not grant
psychic power and have no influence on what is put
in this box. It’s up to the player to calculate his or her
psychic potential. This cell should either be checked
or unchecked. Do not write a number in this cell.

Besides, right now Druegar is trying to figure out if the Coaching manual needs an update. Prior to the 2017 token set, there was only the Ioun Stone Amethyst Ovoid, so it was a simple answer. Now there are tokens that give Psychic Power only. It may turn out you are right after all.

Either way, I'm thrilled with the app, and very happy that I wasn't the only one misinterpreting the box.

No he's not. It gets updated every year--no figuring necessary.

The checkbox on the party card refers to the user having psychic power. Equipping either Charming Crown, Ioun Stone Amethyst Ovoid, or Medallion of the Third Eye would trigger that check.
