v 9.1.0 has been released on IOS and Android with the following changes:

1, Updated Creature Files for VTD 8
2. Ring of Minor Orbits added
3. Variable token effects updated for 2022
4. Single target spells are sent to the Dice Roller (includes those requiring To Hit roll)
5. Skill tests have been added to all spells that require them, but are only active during the event
6. Shaman Belt/Necklace now allow for selecting the elemental type for each room on first attack
7. Frost/Fire based weapons now account for environmental DR
8. A Training Room has been added at the beginning of the adventure. Everything resets upon entry to room 1
9. Several other fixes: Bead of Guided Strike, Bead of Focus, spelling corrections, etc.

Version 9.1.1 has been released for Android and IOS and includes:

1. Updated Creature File
2. Correction for Saving Throws (Android crash problem)
3. Cleaned up some descriptions for the Dice Roller.

The consumables list seems to be missing the polymorph potions for Sea Hag and Sea Troll. I noticed this as I was setting myself up for V8. Given that this is my survival plan for V8 if I end up underwater, that's going to be a problem. Is it too late to get that added in time for V8?

bug found...when main ranged missed on ranger, the shadowshot auto-misses...right now, it is showing hit for 6 points even if main ranged missed.

+2 chaos cannon needs to display/indicate which damage type it is dealing.

Also, all of our spellcasters had problems when they tried to use free actions to do multiple things in the same round. Not sure the best solution for this, we ended up having the dm start another attack round for spellcasters to use free actions.
Also, there should be a third indicator for attack type (melee, ranged, & spell). And if you need to add a damage type indicator for the chaos cannon, maybe add it to the spell damage so the player doesn't have to interrupt the dm to say what they just cast.

Yes, using Quicken or Charm/Ring of Spell Storing didn't seem to work cleanly. At first, the DM thought the app would add the two spell damages together. But if I tried casting two spells during the same attack roll, I got varying results. If both spells required a skill check, it gave me two skill checks, but then didn't apply the skill check bonus to one of the spells and only displayed damage for one spell in the attack roll display.

Generally, I really like doing the skill checks in the app, but between the skill check and using mage powers, it could take me 10 to 15 seconds while the rest of the party is waiting for my attack roll. On a couple of occasions the DM thought I was doing an AoE spell and closed the attack roll before i could complete what I was doing. I think that's mostly a reminder to wizards and DMs to communicate and make sure the wizards are done.

On iOS, I've noticed this but haven't thought to bring it up as it's a minor thing.

Charm of Synergy and Charm of Awakened Synergy both list as (1) thru (10) in the Token Selections
Harlax's Helpful Lamp lists as (1), (10), then (2) thru (9)

Would be nice to have all synergistic tokens listed (1) thru (10) is all. When the token name is not fully onscreen, it's nice to know they are in order to avoid fumbling the wrong level during an event.

For Rangers and Monks on iOS

Offhand to hit (and also shadow shot to hit) has been replaced with Dice Roller status... which is ok when we use the dice roller in VTD since the numbers will display in the Zoom.

When we don't activate the dice roller in the app though, it just shows that line as blank with no to hit values now. It would be nice to have those numbers displayed on screen in the app again in general... Maybe Dice roller status could be moved above Mainhand to hit values? as it's own line rather than replacing offhand to hit altogether? This would allow us a check against what the dice roller thinks, in case there's a discrepancy in the data.Also it would be needed to know offhand to hit in case the dice roller were to catastrophically fail.

Chaos Cannon is all handled within the app. It takes into account what the weapon damage is, and what environmental effect it generates it. It all accounts for any damage reduction related to that. The DM doesn't need to know what the damage wheel is, as it's all handled in the total damage reported.

Charm of Shadow Shot with the Dice Roller. I will need to check it out, but it will be correct for next month.

Spell Sequencing within a round: We have been discussing that, and how that should be handled. We didn't have an answer for this month, but I expect it will be there for next month. AoE spells will still have to be handled between the player and the DM. The app has no way to know how you want to divide the pool damage. For this month, the first spell is handled, but 2nd and 3rd spells in a round need to be handled between the player and DM.

I thought I had the offhand usage without the Dice Roller handled, but I will take a look at it for next month.
