I can make the complication, but a useful display could be tough, given the size constraints. Also changing hit points from a complication is difficult. I may be able to submit a notification on digital crown. Not sure if that is going to work. I should be at least able to let you tap the complication to start the watch app. I will look into it.

That's exactly what I was hoping for. I didn't even contemplate the idea of having current HP display on the tiny complication icon. I'm not sure that would even be useful. Novel, perhaps, but not anything I'd recommend spend a lot of time working on.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

With the token set getting more settled, I wanted to provide an update on the character generator apps. Major overhaul going on this year, so the next rev will not be coming out until January.

These changes apply to both Android and IOS
1. Increase the number of Special slots from 10 to 30.
2. Addition of 5 slots for Wands
3. Addition of a Shin slot
4. Bead slot (how many still needs to be determined)
5. Inclusion of the 2018 Token Set
6. Preparation for 4 completion tokens for each of 4 conventions

These are changes specific to Android
1. Addition of a Party Card view

Exploration of IOS hardware options
1. Voice recognition to allow verbally adding tokens to a build
2. Bluetooth character transfer

I think these last 2 will work, but no promises. Lots of issues that need to get worked out to make them reliable.

Work on these items will start after I get the Cogwind's Revenge update out. (Hopefully in the next couple weeks)

Please let me know if I missed anything.

Cranston, thanks for letting us know your plans. Love both apps.

I do have one request (may be small, may be bigger than I think). What I'd like to do is be able to equip items that have restrictions (like Lenses of Divine Sight) before I've equipped the tokens that you need to equip them (so I can just go down the list of tokens once instead of scrolling back and forth). Effectively, let me build invalid characters but make sure it is clear that the character is invalid until fixed.

You might want to hold up on the 5 slots for wands as it doesn't seem that has been 100% solidified at this time.

Only 1 Bead slot at this time. Some future token may make it more.

Setting the count at 5 was only for practicality. I assumed more spell casters would want to track wands to include in the build. If there is a different number that makes more sense, I'm open.

I will need a routine that assigns a percentage of accuracy to each token name, and pick the 5-10 most likely to provide in a short list. So you say the token name; the app lists the most likely, and you select which one you want. I will need to do testing to figure out how accurate this is. Anything less than 90-95% accurate, and it's more trouble than it's worth

This would be mobile to mobile. In theory players could transfer characters in the coaching room, and build the party card before the coach comes in. It is just a copy process from there. Email gets a bit unwieldy in the basement of Lucas Oil. Bluetooth would not have that issue, because it's short range, and does not need WiFi.

I understand the request, and the need, but there are too many possibilities for confusion. You can have equipment in the build that kind of looks right, but does not figure into stats. Besides the complaints about this or that token Is not figuring properly, I see a lot a problems for coaches, when an item is listed, but the pre-requisites are not there. If the Powers-That-Be, want it changed, I'm open, but short of that, I don't see this happening. Sorry.

They should be IOS 11 compatible now, but I installed Xcode 9 this morning, so the next version will be built with the IOS 11 libraries, and I will be testing on at least 1 IOS 11 device.

I agree wholeheartedly with "CransTom" on this issue. As was mentioned, there are too many issues and shenanigans connected with such an implementation.
