Dave and I said maybe he had confused the Charm of health with the ring...because he brought charms when he said in the news letter he was out...We wrote vouchers so people could use them

My advise, is send them in...dont wait..dont hope..just do it


Whatever the answer is, communicate it clearly and soon over multiple channels to avoid any misunderstanding.

Thanks for all the notes to try and clear this up. I'm still hoping to turn in tokens for 1 or 2, but I was also hoping they will be available at GHC, since I'm hoping to use them there.

I would advise mailing them in using the transmute page

Who is to say he doesnt run out before GHC, or they get left behind..or he doesnt run out there

I was also told in the transmuting room that the deadline would be extended. I only happened to check this thread randomly, so I agree that there needs to be strong and swift communication.

Out of curiousity, what reason would there be at this point not to extend the deadline? Is there some incremental cost I'm not considering?

One reason I can think of is that Jeff may have an alternate path to 5th Level next year and doesn't want this to interfere with it. Or perhaps he doesn't want to set a precedent of pushing back transmutation deadlines. Or perhaps he's unaware of how many people were told that it would be pushed back. He does have quite a bit on his plate at GENCON. :)

I start getting a bit worried when the total value of the tokens in the package starts getting really high. I know the risk is low of something happening, but it still seems safer to transmute in person. :)

when I was sitting with Dave, we both had said he MAY push it back since he didnt bring any(or ran out, we were not sure)..he said that for the Charm of Health

Next time, I am just going to say PM jeff...people seem to hear what they want to hear

yep..it is on a piece of paper..I will hand draw it too...it also says not valid for anything TD related...or worth any money..in fact your net worth actually decreases having it in your possession

Plus EITHER (not both) of these options:
6× different Completion Tokens (any rarity) from at least three different years. You may not use more than two from the same year and all must be from 2013, 2014, 2015, or 2016.
OR**
3× different Volunteer Tokens (any rarity) from three different years. You may not use more than one from the same year and all must be from 2013, 2014, 2015, or 2016.
