My group bought some of the coin holder pages many years ago, but quickly found the top row was not very secure, and carrying things in your hands was a hassle.

I really like the coin storage tubes for general token storage. Currently, we're keeping all of the "extras" in a poker chip case and bringing it through with us, which is a pain for the person tasked with remembering it. This year, I volunteered, but forgot about it in the first room. In my defense, who decided giving all the party treasure to the rogue with ADHD was a good idea? ;)

More importantly they can be rubber banded and stuffed into pockets during runs. I've never cared for binders as i prefer to have my handsfree during runs. The wallets let me keep stuff sorted, show off the stuff i need to quickly and still keep 2 hands free (i play ranger/monk).

Various options, comes down to what you prioritize as the issue during a run. Sorting, ease of carrying, massive build or just keeping few key tokens handy.

I have used the 24 count tokens for a number of years as well for the tokens that you may need to show the DM in the dungeon. Stat tokens are in a tackle box and get put in a bag or left at bag check after the coach has reviewed them.

My coin wallets have finally decided to go this year actually spilling tokens at some points. So I am looking to get something new, but like you I don't like the binder idea at all. I would need have something that carries 12 binders to and from the dungeon and then carry 3 (mine and the 2 unused) through the dungeon. So I am looking for a better quality version of the coin wallet.

We have been using the Dansco binders for four years now, same binders and never had an issue with them. Great way to carry your builds, making custom leather covers for them this year per class. Use a back pack would be great! :)

I love the vinyl coin wallets. My entire build fits in two of these 24 count wallets which fit in a single cargo pocket. We tried the 60 count, but they open on the top (scary!) where the 24 count open towards the middle. Consumables (for me just one point heals) go in a bag in my other cargo pocket. Tripping though the dungeon without a backpack is awesome.

Yes!

And a backpack

Bah. Please be careful with backpacks. Nothing irritates me more than someone wearing one who forgets his footprint has doubled and starts knocking over things and other people.

There just enough bad backpackers that they give the rest of you a bad name. IMO

Hence why you put your pack down when you go into the room.

I personally use a shoulder satchel. Less space and fits four coin albums easy. :)

If you find something please post about how well it worked or where to get them. I don't want a backpack in the dungeon period. My backup gear goes to bag check already.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

I just started using a small backpack this year (with a binder in it). Too many tokens to carry otherwise and that lets me throw a bottled water in there too.

Last year I took the token sheets that Kirk sells and folded them into 3's and shoved them in my pocket. Not the best solution but they were pretty secure and then I didn't need to carry any bags to bring my entire build through. For consumables and gear I use the vinyl wallets that hold 24. I wouldn't trust those with valuable tokens though without taping them shut or something.

Found this old post:

You could attach a shoulder strap to it

I use the binder sheets from Kirk:
www.tdtavern.com/accessories

They work great because you slide them into three plastic 'cartridges' and then slide the three 'cartridges' into the main sheet. No worries about them sliding out the top.

The only minor issue is you need to hole punch them separately because they are made for a different binder type, and don't have the standard holes.
(Kirk will punch them for you if you ask him really nicely) :)

To be double sure tokens won't fall out, I use a zipper binder similar to this:
www.amazon.com/Five-Star-Zipper-Binder-72204/dp/B00COHAI90/ref=sr_1_7?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1470945001&sr=1-7&keywords=zipper+binder

Lots of different styles and colors, but I use the linked one because it has a small pocket for consumables or miscellaneous items.

Typically I lay out the different builds onto 2 or 3 sheets and put them in the binder. 3 or 4 builds fit nicely into the binder, so outfitting a whole party might require a few binders, but at least they are all organized.

For consumables I tend to use the small or medium sized token bags that I seem to be collecting from TD.

Alternatively, regular or snack sized ziplocks are nice so you can kind of see what the contents of bag are.

Something I've been considering, is making a token vest that is similar to the token sashes.. but you know a vest. Actually, it would probably be more of a combination of a token sash and a fishing vest.

I wear a sash from Binia, carry a leather case from Molda, and the TD binder.
