How about?:
Briano
Dirtdazzy
Otiluke
Widseth

Gertz's Backpack - Gertz was the Nickname for Scott when he was younger.

That is an artifact. He wasn't asking about those

I think you mean Legendaries , but that's a good question. I'll have to ask Jeff.

Yes

Otiluke is a D&D staple. It's not named after anyone involved in TD.
Briano, Dirtdazzy, and Widseth were in my original list.

Not all of the artifacts are named after their owners.
this is not a signature.

That's a fair point.
However, since Legendary Artifact names are chosen by their owner, I am not including them as part of this query.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

Wait, do you mean Legendaries (e.g. Asher's +5 Viper Strike Fang) or soulforged items? Who chooses the Legendary names?
My online token shop: www.tdtavern.com

We buy, sell, and trade True Dungeon tokens. We also have a convenient consignment program where you can sell your own tokens.

Yup, I meant Artifacts.
no cookie for me :(

Legendary token names are chosen by Jeff and are not named after real people.
Artifact token names are chosen by their owner/creator.

Druegar,

I'd be disappointed if you didn't have a dice that looked exactly like the token, which you carried with you into every dungeon.

Druegar,

If we could get the list of tokens named after people, the people they were named after, and the year they came out, I'd be glad to include that in the timeline for posterity.

Oh, and Gary had two UR Maces named after him, the Chip Gearon Mace isn't a direct reprint of the Woody Gearon mace.

Unless the individual chooses to reveal his/her real name, I don't feel comfortable posting that info.

Re: Eponymous Tokens 9 years 9 months ago #23

Very true, but a number of them are pretty well known, at least by their forum names. I'd recommend only listing the ones that are either public knowledge or that their namesakes volunteer the info.

So - who wants their names (real and/or forum) to be posted along with their tokens in the timeline, to be made famous for ages to come? :)
