you would have to wait a year..the cert given out for the prestige class is given out based on the number on your token..not by the person who has the token

yup, otherwise, im going to use my rod cert on Thursday, and Friday morning, I will swap my rod for yours, use that cert, then Saturday swap that new rod for someone elses.

I wonder what kind of market there would be for people to borrow the rod for an adventure to use the once per year certificate to play a special sub-class. People with multiple rods might be willing to rent one out for a run. Of course it would have to be someone you really trust and/or get significant collateral

The safest way to trade for a Rod once Gencon has started, if you dont know/trust the person, would be to ask the person to pick up the certificate and then hand you both. Or, stand by the help desk and ask them to verify the cert hasnt been picked up for the one in question. I doubt anyone would need to resort to either, but it's nice to know there are options for the über-paranoid.

Is there a 232? I thought the numbers ran from 101 through about 180.

Woo! Just got my completed rod in the mail today. I am now the owner of rod number 174, which I believe is the highest number listed so far.

Candace and myself will be there as well, we didn't want to ship the 2 RoSP transmutes in, because of postal issue we had getting our origonal tokens.

Does anyone know when the first transmute time will be? Hopefully early Thursday Morning, as I have a 9:50am run on Thursday!
