If any seg 1/2 go up for auction at this point you can bet their going to be pricy (elemental ring was the same way at the end).

So you're saying I should sell other bodily fluids, too?

Organs might be the way to go. I hear you can do quite well with only half a liver and a single kidney XD

There is a huge market for it. Just do it through a licensed agency or you could wind up like one guy from a couple months ago that was court-ordered to pay child support for donating that particular bodily fluid.

Yeah more likely to find someone selling a completed rod than seg 1/2 at this point, I wouldn't even want to guess what they might sell for

Just wait December 1 2015!
Seg 1 & 2 are going to be cheap, cheap, cheap ~:> by comparison.

Say, as anyone decided NOT to transmute their rod set?

Ah! I'm not looking for any segments. I'll definitely be transmuting at gencon.

Just curious as if anyone decided the transmutation cost was too high, or preferred to keep the sections separate for collectability.

I think the opportunity to play the sub-class was the kicker for most people to transmute. I know it got my attention. That, and the 2-piece Eldritch set bonuses.

Plus the fact that now the completed rod and the individual segments don't stack. If they did stack, I'll bet a lot of people would have kept a set of the segments separate so they could get the bonuses from both. As it is, the only real reason not to transmute is if you're a collector and want to keep a full set of the individual segments.

I still think it's a mistake for Jeff to say that the Rod Segment 1's will never find their way into the treasure boxes. Once the deadline for transmuting is done, it would be neat for a few of them to find their way in. Clearly some people have been pressuring Jeff to stick them in the vault and throw away the key, I wonder why.

What are the stacking rules for the segments?

I can see why a segment should not stack with the same segment or a complete rod, but it seems reasonable for multiple different segments to stack.

The same rule that applies to all* same-named tokens: they don't stack.

*other than weapons (which don't "stack" per se) and rare runestones when used in conjunction with a Runestone Fitting Base
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
