I heard there were two treasure boxes last year: a regular one and a high-valued one. How did they decide which one you got to draw from? I did four runs but I don't remember getting any choice.

There were two types of boxes. There was a box with more monster bits and one with less monster bits. The overall ratio of high end treasure was the same for both boxes was my understanding.

The high end treasure was not the same ratio in the boxes. One set of boxes was heavier monster bits and the other heavier high end. The location of the boxes moved a bit from Thursday to Sunday from my experience.. I think this is all pretty funny because before GenCon there was a discussion about the boxes because we knew something would be different last but not what. Most on the forums mentioned how they would be drawing from a monster bits box if one was available. I cautioned that if the odds were right I would be pulling from a high end box. By late Sunday only the monster bit box was left so apparently the odds were right for most....lol.

I'm not sure anyone expected the gear box to be that generious. The discussion lead most to assume the gear box would have s higher volume of rares to make it ideal for newbies. No one was expecting the volume of relics that entered the economy. Not complaining I pulled 2 URs but I could see people who just spent $500+ on relics being ticked when it seemed like TD was just giving them away.

When I saw that the one treasure box was named 'Whirt's Box' (and it had the cool act napping on it) I figured that was the box to draw from. I got lucky, even getting a Girdle on our sealed run.

The Postal service worked wonderful. Just received my Rod in the mail, number 162.

If anyone really values the number feel free to PM me.

Donald Rients wrote: So, is there a comprehensive list of those who have declared they have a Full Rod of Seven Parts and their numbers? I really think it was a grand idea to put specific numbers on each of these. If names are associated with the numbers these would be useless in the hands of a rogue.

I decided to go ahead and create an unofficial, public registory of RoSP parts, mainly using data from this thread.

This is a Google Document that anyone can view or edit. Feel free to modify or add new information. Or add interesting new fields:

As a safeguard, I have made a backup document that anyone can view (but cannot edit):

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QTj3Fu_h5W5jRGSD-ofymhA9QilmZIZJigy8YtiLl5c/edit?usp=sharing

The lowest number we believe exists is 101. The highest number that has been found so far is 179 but I created field up to 200 just in case
(I have no idea how many there are).

The "Registered" field is mainly there so that we can easily count the number of Rods we have tracked down. (In some cases we only have a forum name other times we have a first name).

As a default, I only put down people's first names (not everyone wants their full name listed publicly). Feel free to add your last name if you are comfortable with it.

There are "Previous Owners" fields to help record the provenance of Rods (when they are traded/sold).

On a different sheet, I also have a place for people who wish to Opt Out. Participation is voluntary. If you have one or more Rods and do NOT wish to be on the Registry, feel free to add your name to the Opt Out page and delete your information from the Registry sheet.

Any other suggestions on how we can improve this?

I have 196

as far as I've been told the numbers go to 212 on the check sheet so that is 111 rods expected.

I also had 125, but swapped it for 127 this weekend. And all computer guys know 127 is the best number you can get for a RoSP token.
