TOPIC: Gencon 2013 - How were your Pulls?

I believe I know who it was. If I am correct it honestly doesn't surprise me in my dealings with this person. I have have seen them do similar things just not to this grand of a level.

Well I am glad we had such amazing pulls this year and also happy to hear it was a special thing as well. Thanks to the player who cashed in his artifact like that to make everyone benefit!

Well the ramification from two new people is... they had amazing pulls on Relics. They have decided that they had such great fun they are going to do it next year now!

I understand there could be negative ramifications...

If it increased the returning players that is a good thing!

NO SPECIAL TREASURE DRAWS IN 2014... This is the drawback to that artifact!

75ish pulls for my group
10 from the monsterbit box - golem spring, 200gp, rest was monstly uncommons

62 from what shall be refereed to from this point forward as the Cat box - Dracolich claw charm, 2007 Hillgiant girdle, +2 holy great sword, about a 1000 gp, 14 uncommons in a row at one point XD, didnt do as well as some folks but were more then happy (our pali espeshilly)

3 pulls literally forgotten and sitting on my desk by one of our new players who didn't know that's what we were doing at those "weird boxes for so long after we were done"

That is how I took it also, the treasure boxes next year will be like the treasure boxes last year. Although, I won't be surprised if the monster ratio is similar to this year, which was lower than last year. I think Jeff saw the surge of monster ingredient tokens that were pulled last year and lowered the ratio this year to compensate.

I got so utterly boned on pulls this year.

25 pulls between myself and fiance.

10 from Monster Bits box resulting in a single Golem Spring
15 from UR box resulting in 200 gp rare token as best drawn

Watched 3 other party members draw a Ring of Improved Evasion, Draco-Lich Claw Charm and Frost Giant Belt with their 2-3 draws each.

I do bet we will still have all the monster trophies in one box like this year. I think the days of separate boxes for each run are gone. It has got to be easier for Jeff and company to prepare 2 types of boxes vs 3 or 4. With there being now an equal number of runs for each part balance is not an issue. I am just talking about monster trophies not the other box.
