Ok, Ill make a quick comment because I have to run...<br /><br />Changes from 2004 to 2005 were actually pretty extensive... <br /><br />1) A number of gold and gems were removed<br />2) Weapons were added<br />3) Bone Map Case, Scroll Detect Poison (moved to Rare) and Scroll Detect Secret Doors were removed from Commons.<br />4) Rumors were removed.<br />5) Hourglass of Answers was removed<br />6) Scroll Cure Light Wounds +8 was brought back in.<br />7) Potion of Haste was removed<br />8 ) And the Special ? ?? was removed.<br /><br />Ok, have to run.  =D<br /><br />But I'll post the 2005A vs B differences later.  <br />

It's all too fiddly and anal for me. One of each token regardless of printing year or symbol whozit is more than enough to aspire to as far as I'm concerned.

As I said before, I will issue the guide 5.0 and you guys with better eyes, pick through it and send me corrections.  I am way too close to all the details to notice if I have made an error.  I just discovered that I had the haste potion listed as a 2003 only, not 2004 only.  There is bound to be some other issues as well.<br />I will try and get the official 2005a master and go through the SS with each master screen I have to verify it.  It might not be attached to 5.0, though, I may have to attach it later.<br /><br />Dave

the 2005 printings came in at least 3 issues. a, b, c respectively. however, there is speculation on a "d" printing. <br /><br />the 2005a printing is of a face blowing wind.<br /><br />the 2005b printing is a dragon head.<br /><br />the later printings of 2005, call them "c" or "d", have the same logo as 2005b. that in itself makes them all 2005b since you may know which ones they are, but there is no way to tell the original 2005b tokens from them.<br /><br />so, as far as i can tell, "collections" should have 2003, 2004, 2005a, 2005b, 2006, and of course the purples.<br /><br />now there are tokens out there that have collector qualities: misprints, typos, or other similiar markings that make them unique.

Speaking of the TRUELY rare...I know someone that has three that no one has seen on any list or in any guide...I saw them - they are UBER COOL.

Is 2005 B symbol really a dragon??<br />I had thought it was a color invert/negative of the A, or some variation of it.<br />I'm sorry but looking at that thing I cannot see a dragon.

I thought it was the Letter D for the longest time - and if you think about it...Drake - D with a dragon inside...it makes sense...

From a purps standpoint, I believe there were<br /><br />2004 – Ring of Three Wishes (given to Lance, Jenn, and definitely Warren)<br />2004 – Ring of Regeneration (given to volunteers, some of these were grabbed by mistake and given out as treasure in 2005)<br /><br />2005 – Either the a or b print runs (I think a) 19 designs total, but I will have to check the reverse side<br />          With a second last minute printing with the special .com back.  When Jeff decided to give them out as treasure in the dungeon for Hardcore mode<br /><br />2006 – 19 designs again<br />

Ring of Three Wishes WAS given to Warren in 2004.

<br /><br />PURPS from 2005 were both the .com backs and windface backs if I am not mistaken...???
