Ok, my tokens came today but I missed the call from the mail carrier so my apartment manager accepted the package on my behalf. But unfortunately, he has now left. Oh, I can see the package through the window but there is no way in! So close yet so far... :violent1:

How painful is that... to see the tokens but no way to reach them. Good thing Im not as addicted as some others here or I would have had to climb through the window. :) :blob1:

Douglas,
That is rough. But at least you will get your's soon. I ordered mine but had to ask Lori not to ship them until we got home from Florida. Imagine how long it would take thieves to steal an unprotected box of tokens sitting on my front porch. I am surprised that UPS has not required Lori to ship everything in unmarked boxes to keep the theft problem under control. I think big labels reading "NO TOKENS IN THIS BOX" would greatly help on this issue.

It is only a 4.5 hour drive from my house to Carbondale, I guess I could drive there to get them quicker. =D

But you did check whether the door was locked, right? Because if he just happened to leave it unlocked, it wouldn't be wrong to just pop in and get them yourself, would it?
And while we're on the topic - was the window locked?? With a good lock, or one of those easy-slide ones?

Mmm, this is one of those situations where I'm happy to own a crowbar!

(Oops. That's not the sort of thing I should post in public, is it? Pretend you didn't read this.)

On the bright side Douglas, it seems several of the other buyers are reporting no Purps... so your odds have improved and it may be worth the wait!

Best o' luck to ya!

It's justifiable breaking and entering. Sorta like shooting in self defense, I imagine.

Yeah, what he said, bust a window! Or, better yet, find some street thug who happens to play True Dungeon and split the take with him. It would be the perfect crime. Well, perfect if it wasn't for the fact that they are already your tokens and you'd be splitting your personal property with a complete stranger. But, I only guarantee an answer to every question or a solution to every problem, I don't quarantee the quality.

Take care and have a great day....

ciao,
john.
I was hoping for the one of the two new Rings. Oh well. :) Anyone have an extra to trade?

I've got a spare Fire Resistance ring sitting here from my big order. I'd be happy to trade it for the right stuff - PM me if you're interested :-)

I've updated my collection lists with the 600 new tokens I've got. Hit the "View My Tokens" link under my avatar for that list, or if you want one that includes the new 2006 tokens, click the "View Token Collection" link in my sig. It's a .xls file that is fully updated.

If anybody is interested in a blank excel checklist that includes the 2006 tokens, here ya go: Linkage!

This sheet doesn't make a distinction between rarity for items that have come out in multiple colors - it's a basic collection sheet. Gary has one that works for the folks concerned with year of release and such :-)

Time for my sob story...

My tokens, at this very moment, are sitting in the post office. When I leave for work, the P.O. isn't open yet. When I come home, the P.O. is already closed. The P.O. is open for a few hours on Saturday, but again, I'm at work. I sent in a friend to retrieve the box and the new postal worker wouldn't give it to him. Sigh...
