Full Rod of Seven Parts is not boosting Dex by +1

Just noticed it is not giving the strength bonus either so I am betting it isn't given any of the bonuses.

Have we seen confirmation that the rod will provide all of the individual segment bonuses? I know it has been established to raise the level by one and that's the only thing currently implemented.

It has been confirmed on the forums and in the token database.

Also the segments do not stack with the full rod so should be not be equippable if the full rod is equipped.

Ugh. I'll have to think through the best way to block the stacking. This also requires more effects on a token than we have ever had before, so I'm going to have to expand, which may put us past the max size that I can upload on my website. Stay tuned. I'll see what I can do, but this is not as trivial as most of the fixes have been.

In the interim, you can slot the 7 parts as well as the rod to see what the stats would look like.

Perhaps create one more item called Completed Rod that checks if they have the other 7 parts equipped. Then if they have another Eldritch item (SRoEC) it adds a level and does all the fun that will do.

I was thinking that maybe list 2 RoSP. One that could be labeled Prestige that gives a level increase plus the bonuses and a second one that just gives the bonuses.

Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. I just read that we now have a set bonus (Eldritch) that only offers level increase to two classes. What the hell? That makes absolutely no sense to me and greatly complicates set bonuses.

Why do we keep making this so complicated?

Maybe just list one RoSP and have a check box up by the stats for the Prestige Class Level Boost and the Ranger/Druid level boost.

Adding a Completed Rod is easy. Having it test if any of 7 different tokens are equipped is much harder. I did discover that I had not set up anything to prevent scroll mage armor from stacking with the cloak or robe of the mage.

Sigh. I may have to go with something hard coded like that, but I really hate having to do so. I don't think it can be a check box or it won't be supported by OpenOffice. I would also have to hard code logic to check to make sure the rod was equipped, otherwise you will have people willy nilly selecting it.

Yeah I thought of that also. There would have to be some sort of check to see if the RSoP was equipped before the level increase could be done. It could be a drop down list just like the others. Just up and out of the way of the list of equipment.

Looking at the layout it could be on the right side of the upper set bonus line.

One option is to list the parts separate from the full rod. The full rod carries only the additional benefits, but the individual benefits require equiping the individual parts. Don't need to worry about doubling up and the number of single item benefits stays the same. Another way to handle the +1 level might be to add a new "feature" item to the list that refers to single class only. Feature for +1 level for fighters, one for +1 level for cleric, etc. The eldrich set bonus could have one feature of +1 for druid and another feature for +1 level for ranger. Just a thought.
