Looks like when you go and equip a charm of Heroism you go from +2/+2 to +3/+5 instead of +3/+3 and the bracers of smiting adjust this down to +3/+3 and the Quivering Palm does not.

Good Sir Senor Burke any ETA on 2014 v1? I'm ready to make some builds! Thanks in advance.

I don't have an ETA yet, but I will tell you that I have started and I'm rebuilding it from the ground up to make it easier to update, support OpenOffice as well as Excel and leverage features that hopefully someday soon more of the tablet-based spreadsheet programs will eventually adopt. Stay tuned.

Let me know if you need any data entry or build support. I'm not sure how much you can crowd source. But, I'm happy to lend a hand if I can.

Thanks again so much for making the Character Designer and keeping it updated so well, and thanks for hopefully making it available to more people. :)

As someone who loved having it work on my tablet: Huzzah! :)

Of course it's Wednesday, so I'll put in "Woop! Woop!"

My redesign of the character designer is nearing completion. I need some rigorous beta testing done before I release it to the public at large. If you are interested, please drop me a PM and I'll send you the link for the latest version.

Some of the new features:

- Single version that supports both Excel (97 and above) and OpenOffice Calc
- Improved behind the scenes to make new year updates easier
- New look that more closely matches color schemes and look of the website
- Ability to copy the equipped tokens from one version to the new version without needing to reselect each token
- Summary of Group bonuses at the bottom of each character's sheet
- Display of retribution damage, AC vs Ranged, Surprise and Free Action on individual character sheet
- Ability to name each character, or you can use to keep track of who's equipment is listed
- Tokens that cannot be equipped due to stat minimums are not selectable
- Instead of suppressing the benefits of tokens to avoid stacking bonuses, already equipped tokens do not appear on the selection drop down for additional slots (e.g. If you already have a Charm of Synergy equipped in Charm 1, Charm of Synergy will not show on the drop downs for Charm 2 to 6)

Hopefully you'll like the new version, but I want to make sure it is virtually bug free before official publish. Volunteers will help me expedite its availability. If anyone has Office 360, it would be cool to see if the new version still works on tablet versions.

Thanks in advance,

Amorgen (David)

Huzzah! Sounds great!

I especially like:
"Ability to copy the equipped tokens from one version to the new version without needing to reselect each token"

Am I correct in thinking if someone sends me their Character Designer Spreadsheet with selected tokens, I would be able to copy them into the Character designer for the rest of the party, rather than re-entering the data? That sounds especially Awesome! B)

I'd be happy to beta test it! :)

Yes, you would be able to copy from other people's sheets. The only thing needed is that the file name be different for the two files you are moving selected tokens between. It's a simple copy/paste, but Excel won't let you have two files with the exact same file name open at the same time.

Anyone remember what was the Charisma required for a second Figurine? I put 16 for testing, but the original forum post about it is gone and I want to make sure it is correct before I publish.

Thanks in advance for those who volunteered to be beta testers.
