I imagine it would need to be an equippable ring, not a GP item, but that is just my reaction, not an official answer.

If you search the tokenDB for "free action" in titles/descriptions, you get this:

Remember, their is a difference between "free action" regarding movement versus an action a player can take within a round.

Yes. Free actions are limited. I was trying to make a push to get a "Haste" item that let you take more of them each round but it never got traction because people didn't see the benefit.

I suspect some folks inadvertantly "cheat" as they don't realize what is a free action and that it is limited.

Ok so maybe I am going on a snipe hunt here but I have a question about the Mad Evoker's Charm.

Druegar, can you tell me if you received a ruling from Jeff giving an errata for the Mad Evoker's Charm making it 1/round?

I can find no reference anywhere to the 1/round limitation that is shown in the tokendb entry for the token and the legacy thread about the Charm goes directly from 'It costs no action to activate so you should be able to activate on both spells from the Cabal 3 piece bonus' to having tokendb text stating that it can only be used once per round. Just trying to figure out where that change was made as I can't find a post so I thought potentially Jeff gave you the errata directly?

The new Widseth's Mystical Lute token has two hand symbols .

The TokenDB says this of the Shield of the Scholar :
When used in conjunction with Widseth’s Mystical Lute, this shield allows a bard to perform bardsong, cast a scroll, and attack with a weapon. But remember, the ability to cast a scroll as a Free Action effect is only usable once per room.

Can you use a shield and a two handed weapon?

The Lute animates a weapon or Weapon/Shield combo.

With the exception of an Archer's Buckler and a two-handed ranged weapon, no.
