Mike,

I had the same problem until I started the characters back from scratch.

It would be nice to be able to print out individual characters (I copied the stats into word).

I've got 20 characters (1 of each for each of the Dungeons) completed and sorted into the parties - I don't think I've got time to start from scratch again. Thanks for the tip though. I wonder how many people are going to be going in with incorrect stats on the party card due to this glitch.

Another thing I've noticed - the program will no longer let me use Archer's Buckler. Even where I've outfitted it in the past, when I do any update to that character, archer's buckler is removed and I can't add it back in.

There's also an issue with the MIGHT set... if you equip the Orb as your offhand melee and your offhand ranged it counts twice in terms of letting you get the might bonus...

I noticed this while making my DREAM RANGER (as opposed to my real life ranger "Splashapurp"

This is looking pretty good, however, there are many of the compound weapons that do not appear in the ranged list as they should.

If a monk equips Bracer of the Quivering Palm or +1 Bracer of the Dragonfist, the program will allow you to also equip something in the wrist slot.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections/suggestions in this thread .

I'm really late to this party, but I just got around to playing with the new characters. I was trying to build an Elf Wizard and ran into some issues. In particular, AC Enhancement items (Robe and Cloak of Mage, etc) do not seem to be correctly applying their bonuses. The only thing I can get to affect AC are items that increase Dex.

That said, I think this is a GREAT utility!!! I love how intuitive it is and it's really handy for trying out different options for character builds.

Okay, I feel stupid asking the question because as a Coach, I should already know the answer.. but here goes:

When a Ranger is using a +1 Mithral Sword and a +2 Nightshade Shortsword, is the To Hit modifier supposed to be +3? or is it only +2?

Right now, using the character generator, it seems to be adding both bonuses, to give a +3 to hit.

My past Coaching experience tells me the To Hit bonus should only be equal to the highest of their two weapons, not the cumulative bonus. Have I been doing it wrong, or is the Character Generator wrong?

Issue I am finding is the Ranged AC for the Dwarf Fighter and Elf Wizard is not calculating correctly when printing the party card.

I'd agree with you. The total should be the highest weapon bonus, not the cumulative result. This might be tricky to implement in the application, though.

It should really be a split bonus; +1 mainhand, +2 offhand, or however you have it organized, but I believe the 'coach-used' method is just the highest bonus. This has been a reported bug (it being additive) in the generator for a while.
