<br />I have been contacted by an individual who wishes to throw in a 1K order with us. He also said he may have a friend to add his order with us.<br />This is a guild and as such, no one person can say yea or nay to such a request. <br />What do the rest of you think of this?<br />Another idea that has been kicked around is the possibility of throwing our order in with the 8K order being organized by Incognito. There are benefits to such an order, but the splitting discussions seem quite convoluted. I would like to hear some of your thoughts on this idea also.

I really dont see a problem with adding large orders to ours, it does not hinder anyone from tossing in $50 dollars or such and we would treat it just like did other large order people who toss in $250, $500 etc get there choices of the UR's and get a bunch of number or slips or whatever for a rod or module part. <br /><br />I mean I dont see why someone would need to contribue 1k to our order I dont see any benefits token wise for them. <br />1k order by themselves = 4 UR's mod and rod<br />1k order along with ours = 4 UR's mod and rod<br /><br />The large 8k order seems like it might be a hassle as it would be a pain to figure out if someone who dumps in $25 gets something or not.<br />Plus that is alot more shipments the person who gets the tokens has to do if there are the large buyers and then a good amount of smaller ones who only get a few packs.

<br />Are there any current or prospective Guild members interested in getting in on a pre-order.<br />We have enough interest to get a 1K pre-order in.<br />If we have anyone wanting to contribute on the $250. level once or twice, they could possibly be worked into the 8K deal that is being organized by Incognito. Besides a possible Ebony perk, there is the possibility of opting from a large selection of older purps as your PYP.<br />Reply or PM if interested.

I come to you as a fellow initiate. I have $500 budgeted towards purchasing tokens, it appears to be a good time to delve into the guild (thanks Molda).

This $500 will be available Mid/Late December, and it sounds like that is fine for the pre-orders via the guild.

For my guaranteed 2 PYP I'd like the 'Lenses of Clear Sight' and the 'Girdle of Might' (to compliment my Dougal's cloak )

I believe that based on the order size $500 grantS me a 50% chance of winning a 3rd 2011 or 2010 PYP. If the gods smile in my favour I'm torn between choosing the 'Orb of Might' (loose 3 AC, but gain a To Hit + 8 and a To Damage +7) and the Mithril Boots. The 50% chance on the Rod is pretty sweet too.

1) Am I missing anything or confused as to any topic?

2) I am of course, open and thankful to any other suggestions as to the PYP picks(see my 2010 equip/specs below).

3) How does shipping work?

4) If mid/late December is too late for the $500 buy in, please let me know.

Hi Landspeeder. Welcome.

I wanted to touch on two points of your post.
Some confusion seems to have creeped into our PMs on one point. Buying on the 1K level, which is all the Guild has ever actually done, does not bring an additional PYP (Only 4 PYPs available in a 1K order). It does bring the Rod and the Printed Module that is randomly dispensed. The confusion may have crept in when we were talking about the possibility of combining our purchase with the 8K effort being headed by Incognito. If that were to happen, our group would get an extra ultra rare token, but it would not be a PYP. It would more likely be a lesser valued UR with an ebony back and on that score you would get the 50% chance at. But closing on that deal is, I consider, at least two chances away. It hinges on the chance that the 8K deal is successfully organized and executed. And also the chance that there will be room for us at 1 or 2K.
Sorry for the confusion.
The second point is shipping. The actual purchase from TD requires $10. for shipping. This is voluntarily distributed amongst the buyers. The order is shipped to one address and there divided and reshipped. Each person pays for their own shipping the themselves. Smaller orders can get by with the $5. box at the Post Office but larger orders need the $10.75 box. I don't know the exact number of ten packs that can fit into the smaller box, but I do know that a $250. order needs the larger box.

All sounds good to me: Essentially at $500 I'll pay a little more shipping for a 50% chance at a Rod?

2) any other suggestions as to the 2 available PYP? I think the 2 I have are pretty good, but I'm always open to change if you see any logical switch.
