TOPIC: Ebay Wishes

You know what I (as a new player waiting for my first shipment of tokens) would love to see on eBay?<br /><br />A token lot of basic equipment (especially gear)... like the pole, rope, mirror, the sorts of tokens that you TokenLords probably have piles and piles of, but which aren't available in the treasure packs from TD. I know, I know... "trade for 'em!" but, honestly, what are my paltry 12 packs likely to have in them that will get the attention of a TD player who is looking for Purps? My fondest hope, as I await tokens in the mail, is to "roll 00" and get something to trade for a pile of more basic equipment and old Reds and such that aren't available elsewhere. <br /><br />These old gear commons probably aren't "worth much" to TokenHordeLordManiacs, but to N00Bs like me... they'd be exciting and worth a bit of $$... they'd get snatched up on eBay...<br /><br />Just a thought. <br />p<br /><br /><br />

I would bet that if you listed the out of print common gear you are looking for, along with the extra tokens you have from your 12 packs, you won't have trouble finding someone to trade with. I just threw in some old gear tokens to a deal I'm doing. I agree with you that those old gear tokens can be VERY useful in TD. It could be tougher trading for out of print Rares though, depending on what you want. .

From reading the forums, I've gotten a general idea of the gp/cash value of purples and reds, but it's hard for a noob like me to figure out values for commons.... After I get my token shipment, perhaps I'll post a "want list" and use the GP I got from the packs (plus cash) to "trade"... I also have a few people PMing me with info, which is awesome. <br /><br />Thanks so much!
