Last I heard we don't get the ballroom until after 6. Everyone plan on meeting in the upper lobby at 6 until you hear otherwise from Jeff or Lee.

Todd and I are planning on driving down on Tuesday morning. Not sure what time we'll get there.

Um, what floor is it on?

The ballroom is on the second floor. When you enter the main door of the hotel there are stairs that circle up on both sides - take either one and you'll be near the ballroom.

If you come from the Convention Center, take the skywalk near the food court (it has a seperate escalator just to get to the skywalk area), then follow the skywalk across the street. Once across the street, just keep following the hallway to the left, the ballroom will be on your right once you turn the corner.

Here's the hotel's web site:

Rooms will be reserved prior to check-in time and the date you will check-in. Your names will be attached to each room. Provided there are rooms ready, you should be able to check-in at any time. Most hotels have a noon or 2PM check in time, so if you arrive earlier, you may have to store your luggage with the desk until you can check in.

Lee does a great job up-front, and for the past two years I have never had a problem with hotel issues.

Lee is handling all hotel stuff. He does it for a living and does it great for us. I'v never had hotel problems when he has handled them. He will be sending all the info out shortly. We are all in the process of finishing up volunteer recruitment and scheduling.

There have been some hotel issues -- but none of them Lee's fault. There reason no one knows about them is because Lee has done a great job with handling them. He knows that "hotel talk". Lee runs a hotel in Colorado, and we are very lucky to have him as our coordinator.

I shutter to think what would happen if I had to do it. Volunteers would be sleeping in the tavern!

The only one sleeping in the Tavern will be me! I have a sleeping bag coming down with me to be in the Tavern office for when I collapse.
