Just don't engage.

Thanks!

I was following your (and my own) rule.

It was really hard though.

Honestly.

I have engaged in my head so many times. But it was reaaaalllly hard for me too

if GC is cancelled, why not just hold all the tokens and GTs over for 2021? it might be good to give the larger token buyers a reprieve from buying another year of tokens.

Wouldn't that result in a pretty big revenue shortfall for True Dungeon for tokens next year, on top of missed ticket sales at conventions?

I would assume so.

I would suggest they do have a new set but, extend all token transmute and purchase cut off dates by a year.

Slightly off-topic, but on the topic of transmutes which convention tends to be the easiest for transmutes, trade tokens and general TD ticket availability? I know you can't get trade tokens at all events and that some are much busier than others, but I've only ever been to GenCon so don't really know what the others are like. If GenCon doesn't happen this year I may end up making an extra trip to the US in 2021 to play TD (especially since it will be the year for the Cavadar event) so it would be nice to know which event I should aim for :)
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

GHC. First day ticket availability has always been very good. Transmuting has been very smooth there as well.

I’d say Origins is next best on both scores.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

From strictly a transmuting and TD standpoint, I agree, GHC is my first choice. It's a nice laid back con.

If I was traveling from out of the country I'd pick Origins. Transmuting and TD are both easy there as well, but the weather will be nicer in June and you'll have more choices on things to do outside TD. The dealer hall at Origins is small compared to Gen Con, but much much larger than GHC. I'm also betting you'll find more flight options into Columbus, then you will to Madison. Don't get me wrong, I love Madison. I love GHC. I live in Wisconsin. I just think the overall trip will be better to Origins.

i disagree only because we take drop offs earlier at origins and process quicker.
