I saw it 3 times in the theater (very rare for me) and can't wait to pop the blue-ray in and watch it again. :-)

I loved this movie too. Does the DVD have the director's cut version with additional "hotness" between Uhura and Spock? To quote Bixby Snyder- "I'd buy that for a dollar!"

Legally... its questionable. Morally... its disgusting. Personally... I *like* it.

Uhura and Spock...WRONG!

The whole Vulcan black-hole alternate universe...disappointing way to make a new movie or series (hopefully FEW) of new flicks.

I guess put me in with the stoic old-timers that would have wished for more of a fit to the past we all thought was there.

I'll give points to creativity...but the plot had more holes than a 12 year old pair of Ferengi socks.

Hmmm... maybe in the sequel Uhura and Spock will let Nurse Chapel get involved... will that help it "fit the past" enough? :-)

Don't get me wrong- I loved Classic Trek, but I appreciate the freshness of this movie too.
Wasn't that under some mind influence something or rather...

I could not help but start singing Don't Stand so Close to me...everytime I saw them...I would have been fine with just the favoritism line at the early part in the movie...

Great movie. If you didn't like it because it wasn't enough like the original, you missed the point.

The whole alternate universe thing...borring...like that has not been done a hundred times...

But I guess I was just waiting for the universe to restore and everyone live happily ever after. To NERF the timeline we all loved ... well I'm OK with that...but it just seemed weekly addressed and I was left wondering why they wern't interested in trying to restore the timeline...I mean they did it against the Borg, no?
