It's POP.  <br /><br />A soda is a beverage made with syrup, whipped cream, soda water, and sometimes ice cream.  Anyone who has ever worked in an ice cream parlor would know the difference.

Argh...frakking Yankees!  Everyone know's it's soda.  Pop is what you Northerners drink.  I used to drink pop (for about 18 years) and then I moved south and found the error to my ways.  If you ask for a pop down here you might get punched.  <br /><br />You do all realize something amazing has happened in this thread though, don't you????<br /><br />Bsymington and Henwy are on the same side of a topic.  WOAH!

My family are from CA and PA, so I'm use to it being called soda or pop.<br />I usually call dinner -supper, since to some generations dinner is not the same as supper.<br />And my granfolks call the vacuum the sweeper.<br />Also if you're grand or great grandparents tell you to change your waist they mean your shirt.

Yeah I call it pop and I still don't drink it, even if you call it soda! LOL. Anyways I really don't think it matters I don't drink Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper or any other POP! I also don't drink fathers, dads or pops. By the way Henwy it is called pop because that's the sound that soda makes ;P<br /><br />Lady Myke
