TOPIC: New Harry Potter Book!

New Harry Potter Book! 18 years 8 months ago #1

Well...it is that time again when I go out and buy the new Harry Potter book, and then have it promptly stolen by Lori -- who then reads the whole thing and proceeds to mock me with spoilers.

Alas...I am afraid it must be so again. I am too busy to read it, anyway. True Dungeon calls.

I have started to see TD logos in my sleep...falling like Tetris blocks.

I'm buying my HP book tomorrow from Costco.

Remember, when playing Tetris with "TD" make sure the "D" is with the flat side down, and the "T" is upside down.

Yep. I'll be picking one up from B&N tomorrow. I find they are hard to put down once I get started.

I stood in line .. more hours then I should have to get my copy.. my husband shows up while I still had about a half hour wait ahead of me and offered to spill off to let me go home since I'd been at theatre doing a tear down that evening. I greatfully accept. I go home and nap waiting on the books arrival. It arrives, hubby tells me to sleep, sine I was exhausted I decided reading coudl wait a few short hours.

I wake in the morning to find hubby still up book in hands.. refusing to yeild.

At this particular point, the bum took the book to work with him to force me to wait until he's done before my turn.

Grrr..

I'm half way through the book. I'm pretty sure I have it all figured out. (Who the half blood prince is) Naturally I'm not gonna share my conjectors... But I'll let ya know if I was correct. ^_^

I picked my book up from Costco. I walked in and out. 5 minutes. Only $15.79. woowho. ^__^

Somebody please go and fetch my BOOTS...it is getting DEEP in here. Now, there may have been a time where I took over the book, but I have to tell you that THIS time, MR. MARTIN is the one reading it. He brought it home Saturday night and read....more reading Sunday.....more reading Sunday night.... He is busy with TD stuff, but I think a little HP reading lets him wind down at night before he falls into his fitful sleep. So, don't try to lie to the people, Jeff....you are the one reading the book and I haven't even TOUCHED it........yet.

Books open??? You can read more than just the title on the spine!!!!

*runs paniced back to shop to see if she can unglue the books on the wall*

I'm not seeing TD tetris in my sleep, I'm not sleeping. Getting about 2 hours a night, waking up, working for a hour, falling back to sleep for 3 hours. Strange system but it seems to work for me.

Bah.

My best buddy got it at about 12:30 am and read it all already. Mine is actually my daughters, who just got it yesterday. I'm only one chapter in. ;p

Anyway, I played Settlers of Catan for the first time last week. I liked it a lot! Now I gotta go get it. ;p

Finished reading last night. J. K. Rowling still has the magic touch. Just couldn't put the book down.

I finished reading mine last night.
I was right about who the Half-Blood Prince was (yay!)
Wrong about a couple other things ,though.
And I agree, the ending is a bit sad... if only because now I got to wait HOW LONG for the next book to come out?!?!?
