TOPIC: Recent Purchase - Master Replica Lightsaber FX

Re: Recent Purchase - Master Replica Lightsaber FX 17 years 7 months ago #13

There were some other things but couldn't find a place to secure them. Like that three piece dragon. There were some nifty things, not all got used. I think she got that celtic knotwork tap. from Spencers too.

Are you sure bro? I thought I remembered Lance saying they picked them up at Spencers. Hmm, maybe I'm confusing it with something else.

I remember Lance and Jen both saying that the Dragon lamps at the sewer entrance were from Spencer's.

Of course you have to play test it before you give it to the kids to make sure it works.
Although I've heard a story about how my dad and a friend broke a toy(Larry the Lion I think) playing with it before they could give it to my brother. heheehhe. Dad will never live it down. Of course the guys broke plenty of things for dad to fix, so it all equals out in the end. =D

Forget the lightsaber. I want me one of these .

If only the blasted government would let me have one....

United States of America

Our Miniature Revolver ref. C1ST is not importable in the United States.

We have received a letter from the US Department of Justice mentioning that our Miniature Revolver does not meet with the minimum size prerequisites referring to the Factoring Criteria For Weapons ATF Form 4590.

Our revolver therefore is classified as not sporting and is not importable.

And I wholeheartedly disagree. This is probaly the most sporting handgun in existance :P. You're giving any animal better than average odds armed with this.

From a HUGE StarWars fan to others:

Maybe this has been in your areas, but if you get the chance you have to go. A new exhibit came to the Oregon Museum of Science and Indusgty (OMSI)--the StarWars exhibit. Mrs Widseth and I went yesterday with one of our daughters and 4 grandchildren--the only ones close enough. Incredible. If it comes to a Science Center close to you-GO!!!

This is what we saw:

Almost all the models used for filming all the ships
Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder--the actual one used in filming
The Wookie costumes used in the movies
C3PO's and R2D2's costumes for New Hope, Empire, and Return
Sand Raiders, Wampa, Battle droids, the roll around battle droids, Jawas
Jedi costumes, the Yoda puppet, Leia and Han Solo's costumes, Padme and Anakin costumes
A case full of light sabres--used in the movies
On and on and on

I was in heaven. Some time I will have to share how my romance with StarWars started, but it is too long for here--short story--I was at the opening night of New Hope in Seattle (saw it at least 10 times in the first two months and who knows how many times after that--waiting in line for up to 4 hours some times) and have been to the midnight show of every succeeding show with Mrs Widseth and all my kids who have been home at the time.

Nuff said--I'm going to Spencers to buy a light saber. Gotta sooth my itch.

May the force be with all of you. If you are in Portland or close between now and January--let me know. I'll get you tickets and we can go again, and again, and again.

Widseth
