TOPIC: Recent Purchase - Master Replica Lightsaber FX

It was my son's birthday (6 y.o.) recently and he is really getting into Star Wars.  We have been having these mock duels with the plastic lightsabers and well, I lose everytime!   :cool:  So I needed a little extra "firepower" to turn the tide and I picked up a [glow=lightblue,2,300]Master Replica Blue Lightsaber FX[/glow].  Ok, this was actually a gift for my son and even though I still lost, we had some fun with it.<br /><br />Have you guys seen these things?  They are pretty cool.  Realistic lighting of the blade, clashing sounds, swooshing sounds, realistic metal handle.<br /><br />It is pretty awesome.   =)<br /><br />If we ever do a Star Wars themed True Dungeon, these would be awesome to loan to people going through the "Dungeon".  <br /><br />-D

Of course it was.<br /><br />And you had to! You must make sure it works for him! <br />Gotta check it every now and then to make sure the batteries are still working. Its a tough job, but you know someones gotta do it!

I've got the original Luke's lightsaber (made before they did the incremental lighting at power-on/power-off) and I have to say they're awesome! I used mine at Hallowe'en and discovered that it made a great "flashlight" when going door to door. All the cars saw us, no one bumped into us in the dark, and the kids followed the pretty light like moths.<br />And, of course, I got to be a Jedi for Hallowe'en. (grin).
