I need to look for more bags.  I forgot there even were red bags until Mike reminded me.  Down in the basement somewhere probably.

I have black and brick red with the flat gold lettering and I have grey with the gold embossed lettering.<br /><br />And now I have the Black with black/no lettering.<br /><br />I guess I would be interested in the Black with gold embossed, and the red with embossed...

I have a few black/golds, but it is hard to tell they are all embossed, at least to the extent of my grey/golds.  Some you can see the indentations better than others.  Do you have the black with "flat gold lettering" you can post Gary?  I am wondering which category mine falls into.

I've kept a sample of each bag from each year of TD. Unfortunately, I didn't label them as to which year or print run they were from. So, this list is just being made from memory (and from guesswork, based on how deep samples were in the layers of detritus which is my "stuff to keep" drawer)<br /><br />2003: "Leather" bags embossed. No foil lettering. Black, red, grey. Made in Indonesia<br />2004: "Leather" bags embossed with gold foil lettering. Grey. Made in Taiwan<br />2005: "Leather" bags not embossed. Gold lettering. Red, Black. Made in Indonsesia<br />2006: "Leather" bags not embossed. Gold lettering. Black. <br />         Also, large black velvet 'spider' pouches, with run, made in China.<br />2007: Velvet pouches, black. Purple velvet pouches for UR tokens. <br />         Green velvet pouches with each run. No 'made in' label.<br /><br />Does that sound right?

Um - I have a 2004 TD coaster!  No bags of any note, though.<br />

YES, that would be cool for the collection.<br /><br />I am also missing the GREY bag (2005), RED and GREY from 2003 and 2004- if Raven's list is 100% correct.<br /><br />thanks for posting Pics and confirming types - kinda cool!

<br /><br />I'm thinking my list is (was) not correct.<br /><br />When I wrote it up last night, it was dark and I couldn't see well. For embossed with foil lettering, I only have the grey. The two bags I thought were black and red embossed with gold lettering are merely embossed.<br />But I kept them... which might mean that 2004 was using some of the old embossed bags in black and red, and the new ones in silver with gold embossed lettering. Who knows what I was thinking at the time.<br /><br />I also checked the 'made in' labels. My original list is being updated with the new info.
