Hello everybody! Here is a list of TV shows I worked on this summer as a background actor.

GHOST WHISPERER - episode 1. You might not see me, because they really wanted my car (My car got alot of work this summer!). In one scene where people are talking in a cafe at night, mine is the car in the establishing shot. It's a navy blue Honda Civic Hybrid. BTW, I ended up making tacos with Jennifer Love Hewitt.

CALIFORNICATION - episodes 6 and 8. In episode 6, David Duchovny's daughter plays at a Battle of the Bands, and I am in the audience (close to him!). Then I walk past him and his GF and daughter as they get ice cream. In episode 8, there are several pick-ups and drop-offs at LAX (played by the Long Beach Port Terminal). You might see me in the backgound or my car driving by.

CSI: NY - episode 2. I am on the Tall Ship, cheering as a boat race is started. Not a bad way to spend day, out on the water in Long Beach. Another extra fell down when boarding one of the boats and got hurt!

LIFE - episode unknown. The main character and his partner are going to a wake/funeral reception for a child. I am following them with another extra as they walk to the house.

JOURNEYMAN - episode 1, I think. The main character goes to the airport (SFO)in several different decades as he travels thru time. I am in the modern scenes. I am at a curbside check-in counter arguing as the star and friend approach and then get in line. In this case, the San Francisco airport was played by the LA Convention Center. Man, that was a long day!

SIDE ORDER OF LIFE - epsiode unknown. The main characters (Ian Ziering and an actress whose name I didn't catch) have a cell-phone relationship when (I think) she finds his phone. She hears his voice in a restaurant and chases after him. I am in the restaurant background, at the bar, at a table, and walking to the restroom. When she runs outside as he drives away, I am one of the cars that follows him. Ian Z. was very nice.

ELI STONE - episodes 2 & 4, and possible #1. This is the best chance to see me. The show is set in San Francisco, and the main character is a lawyer, so they wanted the law office to have familiar faces. I worked at this show at least 5 times. They had the best food and a really friendly staff and crew. Loretta Devine said hi to me, and I spoke to Victor Garber, telling him we saw him in a play on Broadway! In any case, definitely watch the first two episodes, and try to find me in the big dance number!!! I am on the upstairs balcony! This show seems to be a mid-season replacement, so it may air in january.

Now I can't guarantee that I'll be on screen, since they don't always use the best shots (those with me in them) for some reason.

Good luck finding me!

Brian
At least the misspelling still made it a legit question. =)

Kim

True, true. I definitely aspire to inspire others! =D

Anyway, I registered with an agency that handles "background actors" (i.e., extras) for TV shows and movies. Never got a chance to work on a movie, though. Anyway, I did this last summer as a fun way to pick up some extra cash (very helpful to teachers!). This year it was harder to call in to try to get booked on shows, so maybe next year I'll need to fins something less fun but more consistent, like teaching summer school. =(

I was thinking of making this a contest - just say that you could catch me on TV, and if you catch me, the first to pm or email me would get a token. Then I figured no one would find me unless I told you where to look!

Anyway, my public awaits!
Okay, there has been one confirmed sighting of my car in the season opener of GHOST WHISPERER, with another sighting likely but not confirmed. The fuzzy indistinct light thing driving the car was me!
