CalTech reports a 4.7 earthquake WNW of Lake Elsinor. Nope, too far for me to feel it.

Here in Dora's Glen it was a little shake and a small jolt at the end. Nothing major. Brother went out to check the pool to see if it was moving to confirm if he felt an earthquake. *little laugh*
Me, I know earthquakes. Of course I was seated at the time so it was definitely more noticable.

I'm very aware of them. First earthquake I can remember was in 84' (I think) San Andreas fault one. I had chicken pox and 104 fever. And my mom says I never touched the floor when I bolted out the door. Early sign I was a pixie that I could fly across a room. hehehehe.
So they tend to strike that little chord in me, of being very aware of whats happening when I feel a little shake.

Me on the other hand - I sleep through them, don't notice anything under a 5.5 or lasting shorter than a few seconds...

Now you give me a good roller quake lasting 10 seconds and I usually get the feeling of motion sickness...

hey - seated I never feel them...it is usually standing for me.

I remember the Northridge quakes like they were yesterday. Practically knocked me out of bed!

Funny thing is, there are probably people reading this thinking to themselves "Thank God I don't live in Southern California" when in reality, its not all that bad. ;)

Ahh that explains why I didn't know what it was! With an allergy to dairy I avoid places that have it in the title.
