Geez. With my lowly 2000gp, I don't even stand a chance at the auction, do I?

*sniffle*

Nice hoard there though, Gary.

Nooooooo! Not the Ruby Rings!!!!!

(Alas, I don't have any GP to buy them off you with, since my GP is headed to the reserves.)

- Raven

Awesome Bro!

And don't despair, other potential auction goers. I'm sure Gary isn't going to bid on every single auction =) (well, reasonably sure...)

Bro

I won the Halfling toe ring for 1300ish last year - that was the only thing I bid on, and it was only a bid to try and keep that item from going for cheep...I bet I could have won it for 400.

Anyway, I'm mainly interested in the Reserve BARs so I'm not too sure I will be bidding on anything in the auction. All depends on what is in the auction...I mean if Jeff puts up the Cleric Bead Board or a string of first year beads...then maybe I jump right in with both feet!

From 13 Ruby rings in my collection down to 5 - alas how else do you do it...boo hoo.

The Reserve BARs are a really cool idea Jeff/Dave, thanks for listening to the ideas and suggestions that led to creating them (no pun there). Making it possible for people to travel with their GP in hand, is much cooler than having to say goodbye to GP due to luggage fines or the sheer volume of all the coins.

Thanks!
G

Yeah, that's the problem with those pretty tokens, they're so durn useful as currency.

Know what? I think that next year's token run should keep the ring - just maybe make it an Emerald Ring, or a Sapphire Ring. Keep the value at 200gp (I think that's a nice top-range for the rares) and change the picture.

Then I could have fun trying to collect a whole token-binder page full of next year's pretty rings, too!
