TOPIC: Chainmaille Earring Workshop at Indy

Chainmaille Earring Workshop at Indy 16 years 10 months ago #1

Hey y'all,

I don't know why I didn't think to post this sooner. I'm doing a workshop at Indy on making chainmaille earrings. In fact, the first session sold out so fast, they had me add a second one. There are still 6 spots left in that one, so thought I would let y'all know in case anyone is interested. Here are the details:

SPA00033 Intro to Making Chainmaille Earrings

Love the look of chainmaille earrings, and wish you knew how to make your own? Here's your chance to learn. Pick from a choice of simple, easy-to-make designs, and a selection of beads and crystals to dress them up. All necessary supplies will be provided, and loaner tools (pliers) will be available. You are also welcome to bring your own beads and jewelry pliers.

8/17/07 5:30 - 7:30 PM (Friday)

Teen (13+) Newcomers (maturity preferred) $9.00

I posted pics of the styles I will be teaching on the GC forum. http://community.gencon.com/forums/thread/107289.aspx

Ooo...I might just have to sign up for this. I've always wanted to know how to make that chainmail stuff.

(Ducks and covers to get away from Heidi's swinging)

I was going to sign up, and then I looked and saw I have my RPG scheduled to run until 6 pm on Friday, and it is sold out. Alas, maybe next year.
