TOPIC: On a personal note...

Perhaps some of you have noticed I've been on the forum more lately and I've been a tad grumpy...<br /><br />Apologies for the grumpy part, but the forum, and token trading, has been really good medicine for taking my mind off my (now not so) personal issue.<br /><br />About a month ago this Friday I tore the ACL in my right knee at a company picnic awards event.  (yes the volleyball quote in my SIG has real meaning...)<br /><br />Well the short version of this story is - the knee is pretty good considering, and I am all approved for surgery on Friday the 15th.  Everything should go smooth - I have a really good Dr that knows his stuff.<br /><br />No need to send cards or flowers (tokens appreciated - but only if we lined up a trade!  =D)...but any crossed fingers, HUGS and well-wishing is appreciated.<br /><br />Thanks!<br />G<br /><br />and no Henwy - you can't have any left-over pieces for your doll!

Thanks everybody...<br /><br />I guess it is a pretty easy surgery, but the recovery could be a bit of fun.<br /><br />I'm hoping for a full recovery, as my legs have not let me down in the past...well until the knee buckled that is.

Thanks!<br /><br />You know - It is sort of a glorious injury...no blood (bruising was yucky) no broken bone (YIPPEE - no CAST!)  And now I can say I've done something most Football players have gone through...<br /><br />We will see how I feel after the surgery...
