TOPIC: Gen Con - Registering Events for someone else

<br />Okay...this belongs on the Gen Con forum.  I don't really want to post there and I didn't find any help files to answer my question or any GC posts that answered my question(s).<br /><br />Could someone here please tell me if a registrant can purchase events for another registrant that is not a "child" registrant within the system?<br /><br />I have a friend who has an ID, but it is not a "child" ID with mine as the "parent."  I don't really think we want to create another ID simply to create a "child" account.  <br /><br />Is there any other way a person can purchase events for another individual who has their own ID?<br /><br /><br />Thank you kindly for any assistance you can provide,<br /><br />John<br />JKW<br />

Off Topic - kinda....<br /><br />I just checked my GenCon account - no sign of any comp badge...

The short answer is "no". They have to be set up as a "child" account of yours in order for you to purchase tickets at the same time you purchase for yourself. <br /><br />The longer answer is that you can purchase 2 tickets per event (7 per TD slot), so if only the two of you are playing, you can purchase both tickets. <br /><br />You can also get his log-in info to go in and purchase for him if he is just not able to have computer access at the time event reg opens. .
