<br /><br />Agreed.  Loved the first two seasons.  But this one is just wilting.  =(  The move to the 10PM time slot doesn't bode well for the show either.  It might be time to wrap things up I think.

This is the last season or so I thought they said. The ratings drop did them in.

LOST is still in the top 20, plus it still rules in the 18-45 demographic advertisers want.  It's not going anywhere for at least a couple seasons.  The head writers and producers (, et al) have said that they have plans for it to run approx. 100 episodes, which will likely mean two more seasons.<br /><br />I agree Desmond is an interesting character, but I'm still a Locke guy.<br /><br />Brian<br />

On an interview with the creator/head writer, he mentioned that Lost is supposed to span 5 seasons.  Lord knows how.

I saw the article saying 100 episodes...that was a shock...I guess the scoop I heard originally was just on some of the gossip/message boards.<br /><br />I seriously doubt it will continue much past this season...especially if ratings continue to flop.<br /><br />But hey - haven't they thought of bringing it to an end and making a big screen movie out of it?

<br /><br />That could very easily be a flop. It depends on how much it costs the network to purchase the show and how much advertisers are paying. Until you factor that into the mess, it's hard to know how successful anything is from a network standpoint.

I just watched the BSG Season finale.  Um... did anyone else think this was just a little bit lame?  Or at least one part (hint: with the 4 new cylons)?    <br /><br />*SPOILERS*<br /><br />Did they pass a hat around to see whos name would come up?  One in particular doesn't make sense.  Ty has been with the fleet for 40 years.  How could the cylons have created a human replica that quickly AND planted him with the humans?  Were they BORN cylons?  If so how?  If not, no family didn't raise any flags?<br /><br />I mean come on.  Between this and Starbuck, I am sad to say that I am more than a little bit disappointed.  :|<br /><br />

I am not sure I am convinced they are actually cylons.  I am hopeful there will be another (possibly lame, too) explanation.  I am also not convinced we wont find out that Lee was hallucinating.  I was more bothered by the 9+ month hiatus, but I guess I could deal with it if the reason is that the producers want to take the time to get things back on track.<br /><br />I wonder if season three suffered because of the rumored "half the budget" being spent on the effects for the first episode...<br />
