TOPIC: Anyone With Me?

Personally I have not seen any of the show. Nor do I have any desire to. At Socal they were watching some episodes on a dvd in the break area one evening. I was working on Heidi's back. After hearing a few moments of some episode I completely tuned it out, and had no interest in the show after that.<br />As is I have little to no time for television anyways.

I have over half of season 3 on DVR and I just don't have the drive to watch it.  I still like it, but the wow factor has worn off.<br /><br />Now, Heroes is a different story.  I'm champing at the bit for April 23rd.

<br /><br />Haha!  Yeah, Kevin is the Science Advisor for BSG.  And you can be sure that I give him hell if there is some problem with the Physics in an episide.  He usually mumbles something about Ron's artistic license to violate the laws of physics.  <br /><br />I know what you guys mean about the third season.  Honestly, I am a little disappointed as well.  I mean, I still like it but it isn't the same as the first two seasons.  *SPOILER*<br /><br />And I thought Starbuck dying was just unnecessary bordering on stupid.  Was suicide her "special destiny"?  Kevin just shrugged his shoulders. <br /><br />My personal feeling is that they are running out of ideas.    Finding Earth would be a nice change of direction.  Perhpas picking up some new people, a major battle with the cylons, the destruction of Earth, the scattering of the new fleet, and offensive into cylon space.  I don't have any inside information mind you... just speculating.  :cool:<br /><br />Funny... the same thing seems to be happening to Lost.  The 3rd season just pales in comparisson to the first two.

I'm a huge fan, but I've falled behind this season, so I'll be waiting until the Season 3 DVD is released to see it (the same with Heroes & this season of Lost).  So I won't be reading this thread - got to avoid those spoilers!!  =D

The biggest spoiler is it sucks.

<br /><br />For me, LOST has really Lost its Mystery.   Pun intended.  The writers have basically answered most the questions but just in an odd way.  There are no more big questions anymore, like "Whats in the hatch?"  Its all about a weird "box" that conjurs things and weird people who do weird things that don't make sense.  Its like the writers were planning on going in one direction and then reversed course hoping people wouldn't notice.  <br /><br />*LOST SPOILER*<br />The Others walking bearfoot and silently in the Jungle is a good example of this which led us to believe that they were scary maybe even supernatural beings.  Now we see, "Hey, they are just like us and even have book clubs".  Right.  <br /><br />It has sort of evolved into a soap opera with Jack/Kate/Sawyer which is getting stale and Danielle/Alex/Ben.  About the only interesting person is Sayid and maybe Desmond.  The episode with Desmond and Charlie was awesome though.  I will give them that.<br /><br />EDIT: The fact that Lost has 15 writers might have something to do with that.
