TOPIC: Anyone With Me?

I feel like such an outcast where I live. The only people who watch Battlestar Gallactica where I live, is my parents. Is anyone else obsessed with this show? I mean With every episode, or almost every episode, that I watch I am sitting on the edge of my seat with goose bumps completly eveloped in the story. I feel like such a loser that I have no one to talk about this show with. Haha....please tell me I am not the only one out there (other than my parents, which poses to be very boring conversations) that absolutly loves this show! haha. 

Yup, I watch too.  Great show!  A friend of mine works on the show though so I might be a little biased.  :|

What do you like most about the show? I think what catches me the most is how the first season kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time, and now i am really hooked on the increadible suspence that the show creates expecially with the season finale's. I am saddened by the fact its not on again till 2008 what did you think of the revalations in this seasons season finale? and do you think that next season will be the last season?

(Carefully worded to avoid spoilers)<br /><br />I am hopeful that the SciFi channel did not just shoot themselves in the foot by placing the show’s storyline on a 9 month hiatus.  I have really liked the show so far, but the mystic mystery 5 thing is getting somewhat out of hand.  I am not convinced that those who suspect they are, or may be, Cylons indeed are.  There may be yet another possibility.<br /><br />I have always felt that if they find Earth, the show is over, unless that is, they find an Earth that has already been abandoned, then maybe you have a continuing story.  So if the story arc for season four includes finding a populated Earth, then I hope they have the good graces to bring it to an end while the story is still good.  <br /><br />To date, they have done a decent job of maintaining a suspenseful story arc, but the last few shows have fallen short of making the show a must see tonight, versus a record now and watch later type of draw.  The only motivation I have had of late to keep up, is the desire not to have an office conversation provide a spoiler.  That does not mean the shows are not good, they just have not had the same “I can’t wait” draw (for me) that they used to have.<br /><br />Dave<br />

My husband and I and two friends watch it but only on DVD so we are enternally on season 2 until they come out with the new box.

I liked the first two seasons of BSG and had eagerly awaited the third. What I found is that this season has sucked donkey balls. I just gave up on it around a half dozen episodes in and I can't force myself to give it another whirl. I'm sure a room of monkeys with the stomach flu could poop a better script than the unmitigated garbage that's been put out there. The show has jumped the shark.

<br /><br />I was talking about the plunge...was that when they went in to rescue new Caprican peoples?<br /><br />I have to agree with H...they jumped the shark when the did the whole 1 year jump and the whole new Caprica storyline...

my only honest beef with the third season was that it was littered with irrelivent episodes. the "filler" episodes so to speak there were so many of them. though other than that i didnt have too much of a problem with it. i thought the one year jump was a bit much but then again...seing a side of human beings changing and becomming mallicious in their fight for survival and freedom was interesting to watch

the acting has been good - but the plots are getting really old...adamas feud...baltar and his babe, even heras plot...at this point I am left saying - who cares...give me a fracking space battle - this is SCI-FI not daytime soaps!
