As much as I love the Colts, I do hope that we are blessed with another Gencon without a preseason game.

Kim

Alright, Colts won. Yay :|

I still think they weren't the best team in the NFL this year (1. Chargers, 2. Ravens, 3. My Patriots), but they were the best team in January/February when it counted.

After hearing Coach Dungy talk about the Lord, I thought, "Funny - he never mentioned God all those many post-season games he lost in the past!"

Overall, though, Harrison is a class act. Lovie Smith of the Bears was as well. I thought Dungy was until he used a challenge to try to catch the Bears with 12 men on the field. Let it go, man!

Meh - sorry, I know I'm just whining. Congrats to the Colts, their fans, and Indianapolis. Just one more thing to say:

GO RED SOX!

Brian

ps - Post 400 - hoody hoo!
Feel the thunder of the Colts!

I do have to agree with you. That was a bit of a tricky thing to try and catch that 12th man on the field, but when you're playing a team of the caliber of the Bear ya gotta do what ya gotta do!!

Oh well. Seasons over. Now to focus on TD '07.

Congrats to the Colts and their fans. I just hope I can put up with you all at Gen Con!

(BTW, my choice for MVP was Rex Grossman. He did the most to help the Colts win than anyone.)

As with the Cubs, wait until next year.

Rex's interceptions were both catchable balls. I also think that if it were not raining so hard that he would not have had either fumble. Chicago's defense let them down more than their offense.

Kim

Hmmm, I wonder if I can get a Colts jersey with Grossman on the back...

I'd agree with the 12 man on the field thing - IF the COLTS were not using that strategy all year...the Bears had to know it was coming at some point...and when the BEARS were tired and not running off the field - they were too much of an easy target.

Is it abusing a rule - or taking advantage of it?...maybe - but it is fair to do so.

G

I think pretty much all the Bears stunk it up on Sunday. The defense gave up over 430 yards which is insane, and the offense had great field position and could not do much with it. I can't blame the defense as much since the offense went 25:00 without a first down. You gotta give your defense some rest. You could see how tired they were with the poor tackling. I have been there myself.

Bears fans: Bears "stunk it up" ...
Colts fans: Bear were "outclassed and outplayed"...
Guess it's all a matter of perception. =D
