<br /><br />WARNING, same SPOILER as above post:<br />i suppose i can agree that snape was a hero, he was working against the bad guys, and by the end he was my favorite character by far.  just dont go and try saying that he was a 'good-guy', because he definitely was not.  there was only one person he cared about as much as himself, and it sure as hell wasnt harry.

I can agree with that - a flawed hero, a common literary archetype.<br />
