TOPIC: Harry Potter Book 7 Release Date

Re: Harry Potter Book 7 Release Date 17 years 3 months ago #13

My guess...

Snape is going to die as the hero near the end of the book. It will be revealed that the "killing" of Dumbledore was a staged thing to prove Snape's loyalty to He Who Cannot Be Named. Remember that Snape is a master of mind shielding. He will save Harry's life, so Harry can defeat HWCBN.

At least that is what I think she will do...

I like Snape, too - he's one of the more interesting characters. I like Jeff's theory.

Brian

I can't help it. Everytime I see him in the movies I feel like I'm waiting for him to say "And Mr. Potter, bring me my detonators."

John Kovalic did a joke like that in his DORK TOWER cartoon, where the gang is watching LOTR:The Fellowship of the Ring, and they hear Elrond say, "Welcome to Rivendell....Mr. Anderson."

Brian
My husband (who works for Borders) kept saying "it will be realeased in July, just like always. On his birthday just like always. He's not read the books. I have just now started reading them since the middle of January.. I just finished #3 and watched up to movie #3. I now know why it's such a big thing!!

Oh and Borders inc is pushing the Snape thing for the preimere. They have stickers that say "Trust Snape" and "Snape is a Bad Man" or something to that effect

My wife said that this book, not even printed yet, is already the number one selling book in the US. We're going to our local independent bookstore to order two copies (so we can both read it at the same time! - then we'll donate the second copy).

Brian

I'm just bitterly disapointed that they didn't somehow incorporate the 'engorgio' charm into the skit somewhere. It was just begging for it.

LOL. You should write for them. That would have been quite funny.

Thank you...thank you...thank you...

Okay, I was a little off, but I got the whole "Snape is a hero" thing. He even names his kid after him!
