TOPIC: Doing something new

Yesterday I went to a hauted house for the first time ever......  I discovered I should have done this maybe 20 years ago when I could still get down on my hands and knees with ease.  LOL!<br /><br />How about we talk about things we are doing/ learning for the first time ever. ?????

Diorama stuff - <br /><br />Wanted to do this for the longest time - now learning and doing it.<br /><br />Spooky Town was project #1 - now it is on to battle mats for Dwarven Forge figures as well as all my old D&D minis!<br /><br />HOOTS for trying new things!

I don't know if this counts as doing something new or not.  As some of you may know, I'm involved with Relay for Life.  I told them that I wanted to be more involved this year.  So this year I'm on the committee for Warren County.  I'm also in charge of the luminaria ceremony the night of the relay.  I'm going to a national meeting in Atlanta as one of five representatives for Warren County.  I'm also trying to convince the president of the local university to become more involved in the relay at the university.  It's a lot of new roles for me.  It's both exciting and scary at the same time.  Other than that the only other new thing that I'm trying is online bill payment.  It's pretty cool.<br /><br />Kim

I learned how to loom knit at GenCon.  I finished my first scarf back in September.  I haven't had a chance to do much with it lately, but I did play with it the other day to try to figure out some of the other stitches.  I need more practice, though...
