Boy I was beginning to wonder how many more clues I could drop. *little laugh*
Alright, lets go through Object 664 clues:

First we had to clear up a little confusion about what to was to be identified.

My backdrop matters not,
I am not what I seem,
Fooled you should be not,
By the way my petals gleam.

Don't worry about the back ground. The flower isn't what it looks like. Gleam is also a light clue.

Next, there was much discussion trying to identify the flower, so I gave you clues as to what the flower was believe it or not.

Twirl my ruffled skirt to catch your eye,
Oh that I had two lips to kiss you,
And yet, my presence you do deny,
Would a change of visage do?

What manner of dress might I ask,
Would strike your fancy perchance,
And in loves glow we could bask,
While reading poems of romance.

On the flower, what looked like a ruffled skirt? The bloom of the flower, Part of the flowers name is Ruffled.
The next half of the name is in the next line. If you listen phonetically the flowers name is pronounced. 'two lips' for tulips.
The flower is a Ruffled Tulip, but that is irrelevant to identifying it as a bookmark. It was just to settle the what kind of flower debate is it.

Still you all were not seeing beyond the petals, they didn't matter cause i could have dressed it up in a different fake flower.
The last two lines make reference to light and literature. Romance is a genre of books(a waste of trees I tell you), poems also a literary feature.

Next set,

Truly my petals are only for the eyes,
Yet they are not of my own,
Discreetly here my homely self hides,
An enticing visage to take me home.

Phyla Annelida with a love for papyrus,
Is an insect that I shall never fear,
They shall never destroy my leafy dress,
And share a passion I hold dear.

Take me, mold me, but me do not break,
Share secrets, prose, poems, and fantasies.
I'll light your world, and never will forsake,
Your touch will turn me on with ease.

Para 1 again refers to the flower being a fake covering, for something simple.
Para 2 is an obfuscation of bookworm.
Para 3 again describes the booklight. You can take it anywhere with you. It has a gooseneck style so its malleable. Line two refers to different things you might read. Line three again a reference that its a light, and line four it has a on off switch.

Next;

Take me to hawaii or whevere you go,
Alas, Black in a lai I am not found,
But Kim you are close, very much so,
For the answer to be clear, expound.

Don't judge the cover of a book,
Or in this case petals of a flower,
Small, but deserving another look,
Over me, I give you full power.

I ask little, just keep me so near,
Curl up in chair with me, or in bed,
Let me hear poe, or shakespeare,
I'll go with you wherever I'm led.

para 1 again reinforces that this is portable.
Para 2 yet another literary reference, and that you have the power to turn it on and off.
Para 3, it takes 3 small cell batteries, needs to be near you to light your book.
Line 2, one typically curls up in bed or a comfy chair with a book.
Line three, authors, line four is a double play. It again refers to being able to travel wherever you go. But it says I'm led. Its an L.E.D book light.

So what do you y'all think, was that fun?
