TOPIC: Game room decoration advice?

Game room decoration advice? 2 years 8 months ago #1

Ok, Adventurers I need your advice! So my wife and I are blessed to be buying our dream home. It even comes with its own mimic! No perception check needed, you know that thing is sketchy.

But in all seriousness, we are purchasing this home and it has this cool feature in the basement. I dig the treasure chest thing that the previous home owner had sitting there but its probably on its way out. Don't have a treasure chest at the moment so I'm looking for some advice at what could go to utilize the space to replace it. My brother suggested a suit of armor or something. What do you all suggest that would look cool in the D&D room?

Suit of armor would really fit the space...maybe a large dragon statue?

Oh man! So cool. If you have the time, I'd build a cylindrical secret door there -- and then you can keep all your special stuff in that secret room. I am very jealous!

Sartre sits in in a coffee shop and asks for a coffee without cream. The barista apologizes “Sorry, we don't have any cream. Can I offer you a coffee without milk instead?”

A lot of interesting ideas here.

I think if you had a custom convex bookshelf put in, that also doubled as a hidden door, you could put some shelves and stuff on the interior to make a bar - assuming you can get a sink and a drain in there, and a bar is something you'd want.

Dude, that's a super cool basement. I second all the recommendations for a secret door of some sort. I mean, it couldn't get any cooler than having a secret door.
